One step further

I walk the path of death as I slowly and steadily sprint down the path because I was honestly terrified. Who wouldn't be though?

Reasons why I'm scared:
1: I'm 12 years old...i guess

2: I may not be as strong as I was back at home...or worse I might not have any power at all!

3: it's dark

4:I'm alone in the dark

5: the group of wizard that I need to capture might be stalking me

6:I don't want the wizards to kidnap me, kill me, or force me to clean their houses.

Yes, I did just make that list up. I'm very intelligent.

As I keep sprinting down the trail I came to an abandoned town, or at least it looked abandoned.

There are people here, or ghosts, whichever tries to kill me first.

I walk slowly waiting for someone to come out. It's as if everything was frozen, the whole world. Just me walking in slow motion with only the sound of my feet against the dirt.

Everything was quiet...

Until an old lady popped out of nowhere with a bunch of other things surrounding her and me.

I was freaked out, but I kept my cool.

"Hello young lady you are here for the hunters exam, am I wrong?" The lady said calmly. I just nodded my head as an answer.

"I shall ask you one question for you to pass...you have 5 seconds to answer." I just nodded my head again.

"If you were in a situation where would have to either save your mom or your boyfriend, who would you save? Pick either 1 or 2 nothing else" The lady asked then started to count.

"5"

Who would I save...why can't I just save both of them?

"4"

Will I die if I answer wrong.

"3"

This must be a trick question...

"2"

Oh my god I'm going to die! This is it!

Really, that's all it took? Well the answer does make sense. Some questions just can't be answered.

I make my way through determined to pass. But of course that is what everyone is thinking once they pass this part.
