LUNA'S POV I bet you're wondering why I'm so determined to reject Elijah forever. Well I'll tell you why I built these walls and why I won't let be knocked down for "love". This all started when i was just 10 years old I'm 17 now , I'll show you what made me lock my heart up for good.
7years ago..... It was my 7th birthday I couldn't believe it now I can be just like all my friends at school I wont be the youngest anymore.
I had always been the youngest. I was so excited for my birthday but what i didnt know was that today would be the day I would first suffer, the day I would be treated like the monster I am
I run down stairs looking for my mom ,because usually she wakes me up ,but today she didn't. I run into the kitchen thinking that maybe she would have my favorite breakfast waiting for like all the other birthdays, but she wasn't there. So I run into to the living room only to fine broken beer bottles and picture frames on the floor and my mother bruised up crying.
I walk over to her and said " Mommy what happened, why are you sad?" When my mom looked at me i didn't see the loving eyes I had been accustomed to I saw hatred.
"This is all your fault you demon child , I should have given you to your father like he asked, you ruined everything.!!"
She stood up and began yelling even more in my face then she did something that later she would regret , she beat me until I went unconscious. I couldn't believe my mom would hurt me , I thought she loved me .
After my mom had beaten me she threw me into the basement and locked the door. When i woke up i realized that some of my bones where in awkward places ,then i crawled over to the body mirror in the corner and saw my eyes were glowing blue they were so pretty.

I felt my bones breaking until I was on all fours and when I looked down I saw that I had paws.

Then I shifted back and looked at myself again I saw that I had healed ,no bruises, no broken bones I was confused. Then my eyes turned red orange and my body felt like it was on fire. When I looked down I realized my body was actually on fire
