MARKS POV

I decided to get a dog just for the hell of it, and not tell Lilly. I woke this morning I got up and ran down stairs made some breakfast along the lines of eggs, bacon, waffles and some orange juice to go along with it.

I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote " Good morning, lovely darling of mine please eat your breakfast and text me when you are done with it. P.S. I love you darling" I left after having my coffee and grabbed my cars keys, locked the front door doubled checked. I got in the car and drove off to the animal shelter.

As I was driving to the shelter I thought of what Lilly would think about having a dog were we really ready for one? none the less I'm going to get a dog for me, and Lilly. When I got there I looked online at the website and saw this golden retriever, her name that the shelter gave her was "rose" but of course I wanted to name her something else, but I am going to have to ask Lilly.

When first walked in the door I could hear the barking of all the other dogs. I made my way up to the front desk there was an older women there typing on the computer. "Miss.Hickey, can you show me where rose the golden retriever is." She looked up at me through her glasses showing me her upper eye " My name is Bonnie, and sure hon I'm just going to need your ID, and some sort of paymwnt doea it matter. When we get back up to the front with rose". As I followed the women into the kennels there I saw "rose" sitting in a little bed sleeping. Miss. Hickey grabbed the lacth holding "rose" in the cage.

Roses ears popped up as if she had heard a bird hit a tree 200 miles away. She walked over headbutting my leg, her fur was getting stuck to my jeans. Bonnie grabbed the leash asked me if she was the time and what I wanted "Bonnie of course she is prefect!".

We went to the front desk with roses leach in one hand and her following behind me, Bonnie walking ahead. Bonnie made it to the desk she grabbed a folder the said "roses records" I guess it was her medical records.

"Okay mister...."

"Oh yeah sorry my name is mark"

"Okay mark. To get rose it will cost 110.99$"

I gave her my credit card she swiped it, and gave it back to me. Bonnie gave me the folder, a list of foods that i could "give" rose, and roses tags. I took everything and said my goodbyes to Bonnie.

Walking to the car "rose" was walking right beside me. When I finally got "rose in the car and drove back home the side being only 15 minutes. I thought it would be a good idea if I stopped at the pet store before getting home to have all of "roses" stuff, along with getting her a new tag with her new name.

As me and rose walked in she kept the same pace as me never wanting to walk away from me. we first made our way over to tag maker. I thought of a new name on my over to pet store .

"Berry.... no" , " Bog shot.... NO"

" What about Chica like from FNAF shes one of my favorite characters if you could call her that!"

I finally had made a choice i wrote her name and address on the screen and the machine did the rest for me. When the machine was done it had her name "Chica, my phone number, and address" after I was done wit the machine i walked with chica over to the food and the leaches grabbing what i needed, going up to the cashier,and purchasing the items.

We walked out of the store, and walked over the car chica got in, so did I, as i drove home chica fell asleep in the back of my car.

A few minutes later chica and I got home since she was still asleep, when the car made the stop and slide back a bit from gravity. Made chica wake up as she did I could see that she had eye boogers so I grabbed her face gently and wiped them off.

I got out of the car and grabbed the door for chica to get out after grabbing her leach before letting her jump out. Walking over to the front door with chicas leach in one hand and my keys to the front door in my other hand.

As I opened the door I yelled for Lilly. "Hon, where are you!?" I heard her "Upstairs!" "Okay you stay right there Lilly I have something to show you". I brought chica in and yelled "Hon, you can come downstairs now"

Lilly reaction was not I was expecting I though she would be mad, and pissed that I had gotten a dog without talking about first with her, but when she saw chica in all of her glory she ran up to her and petted her fur ever so softly as if Chica was a little baby. "Mark what is her name?" "Her name is chica, as in like chica from Five Nights At Freddy's. What do you think of the name?" "First, chica is very adorable, Second I love the name, and finally when did you get her?" "Oh yeah I got her this morning after I made you break fast and left to get her".

We made our way to the living with chica following behind, as we sat down chica didn't jump up on to the couch but laid on the floor next to the couch. Lilly sat down and laid down on my chest. I turned on the TV and chose to watch "Beat Bob Flay". After a little while I noticed that the weight on my chest had all the sudden gotten heavy. Lilly had fallen asleep on my chest I picked her up and walked upstairs taking her to our shared bedroom. When we got there I set Lilly on the bed and tucked her underneath the covers. I walked over to the other side bed took my pants and grabbed my shorts that are the bedside table putting them on and throwing my t-shirt off, and getting into bed. "Lilly, I love you sweetheart. Good night darling!" after I said that I heard a little sweet "iloveyoutoo" and then off to sleep she was yet again. I myself then fell asleep a few moments later holding Lilly in my arms.

okay i know that was probably kinda off bad but still did my best. I will be able to write more. Just graduated from school so for the next 2 weeks new chapters should be coming out more often, but thank for reading this chapter.
