It was dark day with an overly grey clouded sky and there she was sitting down in front of three grey doors. One was open to a great brightness of light with a sweet honey land filled with joy. Gracey was having the same dream that she had last night. It was an unpleasant dream that involved her Great Grandmother. "If you go through the door on the right my darling you're going to die. If you go through left door you will get seriously injured, but if you go through the middle door you will get lost in a sweet honey world and you will not return to life as you know it, "her grandma said.
"No, no, no! I don't want to die, why is this happening", Gracey shouted out loud.
SuddenlyGracey woke up with a shock, wondering what that weird dream was all about. Afterbreakfast Gracey ran back into her room. She sat on her bed, hugging her browncoloured soft teddy bear thinking what that dream was about. She knew that iswas her grandma speaking but she couldn't figure out why all by herself
Finding Out:
She didn't ask her brother or anyone she just used google. None of the websites were working and Gracey was getting irritated.
"Ugh, why aren't any of these working!" Gracey shouted angrily.
"Can you keep it down please Gracey!" Cameron asked in a frustrated tone.
"Ok, fine if you need me I'll be in the living room doing my homework" Gracey warned Cameron
Cameron felt a huge sigh of relief rushing from the tips of his hair right down to the tips of his toes. Now whilst Gracey was out in the living room he could go and make sure that all those websites wouldn't work So she wouldn't find out the secret about her grandmother. He was just in the middle of checking the last few websites he could here Gracey skipping up the hall but there was nowhere to hide.
"What are you doing on my computer Cameron!" screamed Gracey.
"Oh, sorry I was just..." Cameron spoke with an un even tone.
But before he could say anything could see past his shoulder and was reading what was on the screen when she started to look red in the face.
"Ok, so why didn't you tell me about all of this!"
"Well we just wanted to protect you!" exclaimed Cameron.
"Tell me why" Gracey shouted.
A few minutes later Gracey found out the truth about why she had that strange dream. She had learnt that her great grandma died of starvation after being locked in a dark grey room with three doors, twelve years after World War II ended. Now Gracey knows why she had to be protected from the truth about the dream. In doing so, she must never speak of her great grandmother. If she did, then history would repeat itself.
Gracey was finally relieved to know the truth about her great grandmother and the reason for her dream, which was all part of the secret.
