Phil was 14, turning 15. When you turn 15, you and other boys that had just turned 15 as well, have to go in the forbidden forest for 2 nights to prove how strong and responsible you are. If you don't come back, you will be forgotten. Phil didn't believe that they would be forgotten because the little kids are told a story about a boy who didn't come back, but people still remember him. They say, that if you look at the forest long enough, you could see him running through the trees looking for the other boys he was with. Phil had always wondered what was in the forest to make the elders forbid people from gong in.
yeah, I know this story sucks, but this is my first story, so cut me some slack... I will try and be more creative so just hold on!!
