My name is Faith and this is my story of how I became a hero.
Today I woke up and sense something toxic was going to happen, but I new I would be able to stop it. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs into the kitchen. My family was sitting around the table eating breakfast.
"Mom, t.... t...today's the day I become a hero. I will be able to to use my a.. a..abilities to make peace in the world." I said
My sister looked annoyed , my dad looked upset and my mom said.......
"UGH, Faith, I've told you this before nobody is going to listen or follow you. You have powers and all but you can never use them because people just don't care."
My mom got up and walked away. My dad came up to me and hug me because he could tell I was upset. But Your probably wondering what my mom is talking about? Why know one would listen to me? It's because I was born with a brain injuries that effected my speech that's why I stutter and it's also because I have autism. Your probably feeling bad for me but you shouldn't because out off all of this I was born with powers that can help me save others in a positive way. All I need to do is convince everyone that I can do it. My appearance and voice may be different form others, but I know I have a great attitudes to not let that hold me back, even when my mom hates me, my dad always patties me and my sister....,
"It's because you have autism and you stutter, that's why no one will ever listen to you. Your a joke, a very bad one that know one laughs at and you just keep telling it over and over again it's like your Def too." Said my sister
"Marley that's not very nice to say to Faith. Your supposed to be looking out for your little sister." Said dad
"I am looking out for her! I'm the one who telling her the true because no one else will. She's so weird anyways just look at her. As long has she looks and talks like that she will never be a hero". Said Marley
"MARLEY THATS ENOUGH! Apologize or leave the table."Said dad
"I'm not a w... w...weird my reality is just different from others. It d..... d...doesn't matter what I look like. That shouldn't affect w... w... what I'm capable of doing. Lucky I have faith and not fear in everyone that doubts me." I said
Marley took one look at me and started to laugh and she walked away with even apologizing.
