Have you ever feared your own mind? And I don't mean the monsters in your head, I mean your own thoughts and mind. Would you fear your own power if you knew that you could do so much with it?
If I told you that I have the power to control the way you think, would you believe me? That right now, right this moment, I am twisting and bending your thoughts to my will. A terrifying notion, is it not?
And if you doubt that I have such a power, why do you continue to read this? Is it curiosity or is it my will that you are following? Even if it was curiosity and if I really have this power, you'd think I could make you feel incredibly curious over something so preposterous. Whatever the reason, you continue to read this and by doing so, you are just proving me right.
If I could control you, what part of you is real? Are your fears your own? Your morals and beliefs? Even your very existence is at jeopardy right now! So, why do you continue to read? Could it be possible for me to be telling you the truth? It would be terrifying if I had this power, but why is it scary?
Your feelings, fear or denial of my power isn't your own. If I don't have this power then can you really say that someone else does not have it? I know you haven't met everyone on this planet, so how can you say that my power does not exist?
So are your thoughts your own and are you in control of your will, your power? After all, there is no way for you to disprove the truth. Your mind is mine to bend and if you think that it isn't… why are you still reading?
