Point of No Return

The protester's circle in front of the Fredericks hospice building. The protester's carry large signs that read "Corporations Hate The Poor!" The signs are written in a bright red paint by Jenny and Abbie Mills the night before. Abbie shakes her huge sign screaming her protest. She is wearing black jeans and a black V-necked blouse. Her dark brown hair straightened to a smooth and glossy shine.

         Jenny taps Abbie on the shoulder. They look through the pane glass window to look inside Fredrick's hospice. Ichabod is talking to billionaire Abraham Van Pelt. Abbie could see the teeth marks of the comb in his blonde hair. Abraham is wearing a dark blue suit, a white dress shirt, and a long red tie. He was buying Frederick's hospice making it a luxury apartment building. Abbie was so angry at Ichabod when he took Abraham's side. She later learned Ichabod is an old childhood friend. Ichabod didn't understand what the Fredrick's hospice means to her and Jenny. Their mother was hospitalized at the hospice after her nervous breakdown. Leaving Abbie and Jenny orphans when they were teenagers.

            Abbie lowers her sign and rests it against her knee. She walks to the large glass. Ichabod turns away from Abraham. She smirks sweetly at him. He returns her smile and looks back at Abraham and excuses himself. Ichabod steps closer to the pane of glass. He lifts his hand and lays it flat on the glass. He leans forward and smiles at her. Abbie narrows her eyes at him. Was he trying to call a truce between them? A small smile appears at the corner of her full lips. She steps closer to the glass.

A huge bang gets the witness's attention. A portal door from hell opens on the sidewalk to reveal Ichabods ex-wife Katrina Van Tassel. The evil witch's black dead eyes glare at Abbie and Ichabod. Katrina reaches out to point a long finger at the protesters. She lets out a loud ungodly wail and incinerates them.

              They turn to look back inside the hospice. Abraham Van Pelt's eyes glow red. He smiles at the witnesses. The smile is a skeletal grimace exposing rotten teeth. Ichabod pulls out his gun and shoots at Abraham. The bullet hits him on his right shoulder. Abraham lifts his huge arms above his head and roars. He breaks through the pane glass window and charges at Ichabod. Ichabod turns his head to look at Abbie and nods at her. She returns his nod and pulls out her gun from her back pocket of her black skinny jeans.

          Abbie shoots Abraham right between the eyes and he goes down. Abbie turns her gun to Katrina and shoots her in her forehead. Katrina's head jerks back with the force of the bullet but still stands. Abbie and Ichabod shoot bloody holes across Katrina's slender body. Her shriek brings sheets of rain to fall. The witnesses become blind from the rain and everything turns black.
