New School Life

I woke up in my room to the sun beaming its rays through my window. I got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom.

I quickly hopped in and washed my body with coconut and mango lotion. I jumped out and put on my uniform, then walked into the kitchen. I grabbed an apple out of the kitchen and walked to school.

As I walked to school I tried covering my scars from me cutting but my jumper was too small.

"Shit!" I said angry to myself.

"Are you all right?" A boy asked me before takin his earphones out.

"Oh. Yeah I'm fine..." I said back quietly.

"Do you go to North West Christian College?" He asked me.

"Yes I'm new there..." I said quietly again. He nodded at me and we walked to school together.

"Thank-you for walking to school with me. Where is the office? I need to grab my timetable..." I asked him giving him an confused look.

"Uh I will show you! And I will show you around school too." he said back with a grin on his face.

We walked into the office and I asked the office lady: "Hi I'm new here. And I just wanted to know if I could have a schedule please?"

"Sure!" She said back with a gin on her face. Luke and I looked at each other and smiled.

She gave me a sheet of paper and I said thank-you, then we walked out.

"I have English with You and all my classes are with you today!" I said before we cracked up into laughter.

The bell rang for class and we walked straight to class.

"Hey Luke! Who is that girl you are with?" 3 boys asked him.

"Oh this is Taylah Garland. Taylah this is Ashton, Calum, and Michael. Taylah is new here!" He replied smiling back at me.

"Hi." I said quietly.

"Come on don't be shy with us!" Michael said.

"Ookkaayy!" I said a bit louder.

"That's my girl!" Ashton said at the same time as Calum. Luke and I laughed and we all walked to class.

"Um mrs McGregor? This is Taylah she is new here." Luke introduced me to the teacher.

"Hi." I said quietly. "Hi Taylah you can take a seat next to Luke since you already know him." She said to me politely. I took a seat next to Luke and Calum.

I was doing my work when I heard girls laughing at me. Others were giving me greasy looks cause I was with Luke.

"Luke the girls behind us are laughing at me." I said.

"Hey girls?" Luke asked them.

"Yes Luke?" they said back twirling their hair and fluttering their eyes.

Luke rolled his eyes and said "leave Taylah alone. What if she was laughing at you behind your backs? huh?" "I wouldn't care!" one of them argued back.

When she said that she looked at me and pointed the finger at me.

"Luke I'm leaving sorry." I whispered in his ear.

"No taylah don't!" he said before I stormed out of the class and towards the entrance. I sat outside of the gate and started to cut. I had at least 4 cuts going down my leg.

"Taylah wait!" Luke said trying to catch his breath.

"Luke. it's obvious I don't belong here. No one likes me. Those girls like you. Your popular I'm not I just don't belong here." I said before I started to cry.

He looked me in the eyes and wiped away my tears saying

"you do belong here I Like you my friends like you. You are popular to me and they boys. If you leave I leave too. I know I only just met you this morning but I think I Like you..." he said.

I smiled and showed my cheeks blushing.

"I think I like you too. But I'm not ready for a relationship. I'm sorry. but Im ready to hold your hand." I said back.

"Okay... can I hold it now?" he asked me politely.

I nodded. He held grip of my hand and intertwined our fingers together.
