Chapter 4

What is up with that boy? He doesn't give up.

I'm at lunch sitting at a table with Kaylee when she got me out of my thinking "So Rosie who do you have your eye on" she asks. "No one" I say plainly. "Oh cmon your lying" Karina adds. "No I'm not no one really interests me" I say thinking of Luke, I should stop. "So who do you like Karina" I ask putting the pressure onto her. "No one" she says clearly lying. We all just look at her. "Fine" she huffed "Ashton" she says quickly. I look at her weirdly. "He's a Senior you wouldn't know him" Irene says. "He hangs out with my brother" Kaylee adds. "Who's your brother" I ask. "Michael" she says.

That explains why they look alike. "Who do you like Irene" Andrea asks. "What no one" she says quickly. "Really" Karina asks sarcasticly. "Michael" she says quietly. "What" Kaylee says a little to loud. "Sorry guys" she says to the people around us. "What you like my brother" Kaylee says more quietly. She nods and says "Don't tell him". "I won't that's weird" she says. I laugh at them.

Then Andrea leans in to me "Someone is looking at you" she says nudging my elbow. I turn and see Luke looking at me out of all people him. When my eyes met his he winked at me and turned away. "What was that" Andrea asks whispering.  "Nothing he probably had something in his eye" I say. She laughs "Okay but you stay away from him" she says seriously.  "Why" I ask. "He's the bad boy he's always ditching he always gets with girls and moves on to the next" she says. Now I see differently about Luke I thought maybe he was nice but this just proves he's just another guy. My thought was cut off by the Bell ringing signaling we had to go to next class. I got up to throw away my stuff I was walking out the cafeteria but then I felt hands grab my wrist and pull me In the janitors closet.

"Let me go" I say pulling away. Then they turned on the light and standing in front of me was the one and only Luke Hemmings.  "Hi" he says moving his hands from my wrists to my waist. "Are you gonna tell me. your name or are we gonna have to stay in here for a while" he says. "If I say it you'll let me go" I say making sure he wasn't lying. " that was the deal" he says. "Fine I'm Rosie" I say. "Pretty name for a pretty girl" he says getting a little to close. He starts to lean in when all of a sudden someone walks in, it was the janitor. "What are you guys doing here get to class before I send you to the principals office" he says madly. Once Luke loosened his grip I got out and ran to class.
