"I've really missed you," I whispered, the cool of the night present on my breath.

Y/n nodded. She looked up and saw the stars. "I wished you had told me that sooner," she gave me a half smile.

"I just can't stop thinking about you-"

"I'm sorry," she interrupted. "You can't do this. Not now. I've...... I've been seeing someone."

My heart stopped. "Oh. Well," I scratched the back of my head, "He better not be an idiot like I was. I hope he knows he's got something special."

"You really think so?" I nodded. Y/n got up and picked up her jacket. "You know... If you had told me that 6 months ago-"
