The alarm clock on my phone starts buzzing and vibrating, signaling that it's 6 A.M. Time to go to work for Mr. Styles. There's no telling what's in store for me today.

I slowly rise from the bed, my feet touching the cold wooden flooring. I really need a rug or something. I tip-toe my way to the restroom, closing the door behind me. I turn the shower on then strip my clothes, leaving them on the white tile floor. I shower, washing my body and shampooing my hair. I then get out and wrap a towel around me. I blow dry my hair then I quickly stride to my room. I get dressed in a black pencil shirt with a business coat to match and a light blue button up. I slip on some flats then I brush through my black hair. It's already straight so I just pin my bangs back then I grab my phone and purse. I throw my phone in the purse then I quickly walk out.

Walking to work is a good way of exercise but not on hot summer days like this. You get sweaty and that's just disgusting. It makes me want to run home and take another shower. So I decided on taking a cab. I waved a taxi and told the driver the address of the building. He sped off, my head hitting the back of the cab.

"Ow." I mumble, rubbing the back of my head. It's not a serious head injury....well, I'm not bleeding at least.

After 10 minutes of riding in a reckless taxi, the man finally pulls up at the 25-story building. I pay him for the services he gave me then I walk into the building. I go to the elevator and press the up arrow. I wait for a few moments in silence before there's a ding and the elevator doors slide open. I step in and press the button for the 25th floor. After about 5 more minutes and a few stops for other passengers, I'm at my designated arrival. No one is here except for me. That's how it is every morning. I go over to my desk and check the time on my computer. 7:37 AM. I have 8 minutes before Mr. Styles gets here.

Everyday before Mr. Styles enters the floor of this building, I make sure to clean out his office. Usually, there's a paper wad on his desk or in the floor but that's about it. He's a very organized man.

I enter Mr. Styles' office and pick up the few scraps of paper he has on the desk and I put his pens back in the small cup on his desk. When I walk over to the trashcan, I notice an empty glass bottle. I pick up the container, that has no label on it, and smell to see if I can identify what liquid was once inside. It's alcohol, scotch to be exact. I know because that's all my father drinks and I've smelt it my entire life pretty much.

Why is there scotch in the trashcan? Maybe that's the reason Mr. Styles was acting differently yesterday, telling me that he 'wants me'.....but I've always heard that the truth comes out once you've gotten drunk. So, does Mr. Styles really think that way towards me?

I quickly put the bottle down in the trash again then I put the paper in there as well. I've got to stop thinking that my boss wants to sleep with me, it's completely ridiculous. Why would he want to sleep with one of his co-workers? I exit the room just as Mr. Styles starts to enter.

"Well good morning Ms. Bryant." His voice is husky.

"Good morning Mr. Styles." I tell him. "Would you like some coffee?"

"That sounds great. And would you mind getting me two pain killers? I've got the worst headache." Ahh, the hangover. I nod in response.

"Of course, sir. I'll be right back with that." I smile politely and walk off toward the break room. I make his coffee just the way he likes it: Decaf with a bit of sugar. I then go back to my desk and find the pain killers that I keep just for him, pouring two out into my hand. I go to his office door and knock lightly.

"Come in." He announces. I enter the room and make my way to his large desk that he sits behind, his feet propped on it.

"Here you go Mr. Styles." I sit his coffee on the desk.

"You don't have to knock Ms. Bryant. Please, come in whenever you like." He says. I feel like he's trying to be a bit cheeky but I'm not really sure. I hand him the pain killers. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, sir." I respond, slightly nodding my head as well. "If you need me, I'll be at my desk." I exit the room then sit at my desk, starting on some work that I have to finish.

The end of the day couldn't come fast enough. I just had a slow day today. Mr. Styles didn't really call for my help on anything, maybe getting him some water and coffee but that's about it. It's currently 4:56, 4 minutes left until I'm home free.

"Ms. Bryant?" I hear Mr. Styles' voice from the speaker on the office phone. "Please come in here for a brief moment." I obey and rise from my chair, walking into his office.

"Yes, Mr. Styles?" I question, catching his attention from where he was staring blankly out of the window.

"Would you mind staying after hours tomorrow? I have a big project coming up and I'd really appreciate your help." He has a hopeful gleam in his eye.

"Of course, sir." I reply.

"Thank you Ms. Bryant. I'll send you an emial, briefing you on the project." He starts messing with his computer. "That's all. Have a lovely day and I'll see you tomorrow." He smiles politely toward me before messing with his computer again.

"Have a lovely day sir." I tell him before exiting his office. Extra time with Mr. Styles? As long as he doesn't drink, I think we'll be fine. I really can't believe he was drinking at work. It just makes me wonder why he would down a whole bottle of scotch. What's so wrong in a wealthy, gorgeous mans life that would want to make him drink his problems away?
