We've always been the closest pair in the class, me and Bakugou. Most of the other kids in class 1-A seem to be either distant, harshly competitive, or just plain fierce with the other classmates. Some of the other kids can get along well, like Froppy and Tokoyami. But I just assume it's because they both have animal quirks and well. Animals tend to stick together!
That sounds really rude, they're probably just friends. Me and highly have been planning to hang out for a while over spring break but neither of us really have figured out when. All I really know is that it'll be at his place since his parents are way more leaneant than mine. It's almost evening now, and while im not very busy he may be, so I'm sure today would be a terrible time to Hang out. So I decide it's easier to text him now to see about hanging out tomorrow.Kirishima
Hey man I know we planned to hang out sometime this week what's the deal? I was thinking tomorrow if you've got the time.KingExplosionMurder

Don't ever use that smiley thing ever againSo yeah. We're pretty much best friends. We've both been training hard with all the work UA has been throwing at us. Bakugou started spending a little more time with his mom and he opted to go to the gym so he could get a workout in, but keep the creeps off of her while she's working out (Ew).
Everything was normal, I had been laying in bed for hours, the group chat between all the UA kids had been blowing up all day because Todoroki hasn't been responding to anyone's texts or calls but a small talk from Endeavor confirmed that he's doing meditation and quirk-training on his own. Midoriya and the rest of the class are a small bit peeved he's using his time this way though. I sit up on my bed and take a glance over to the computer, before I can make a movement towards it- stepping. Small taps of feet coming down the wood-floor hall. Ones I didn't recognize. Before an instant could pass, I was up on my feet facing the doorway with my hands at ready if a fight was necessary.
A familiar voice followed the stop of the footsteps. "Hey get out here, you've been shut in half the break!" "We've been waiting to get you out of the house for well... forever!" Tenki and Sero, typical of them to show up unannounced. I open the door promptly with a relieved sigh. "I didn't recognize your footsteps out in the hall, you had me worried some villain was after me!" The pair laughed at the remark and Sero quickly continued the conversation. "Don't worry, I doubt any villain with half a brain is gonna come after a kid from class 1-A." He had a point. No major crimes or villainous action has been reported lately, and I would know. The news is basically the only channel we get on the home T.V. Kaminari glanced around the room quickly noticing the multiple posters of rock bands and musicians all over the walls.
"I see you're a music fan?" Sero called out, almost like a question for the universe. "Er- uh, yeah I've been listening to it for years, my parents aren't too fond of it but I prefer it to the classical... Whatever they're listening to down there." They both quickly break out in laughter as Kaminari's hand finds my shoulder. "We're just messing with you dude, we listen to it too it's fine." Relief, knowing I wouldn't get judged for this is a huge chip off of the list of things to worry about.
I quickly turn to the both of them realizing why they were here. "Oh, you guys said you were wondering why I was all locked in here, well not really anything. Been catching up on sleep that's for sure. Why?" Sero and Kaminari seemed to laugh at the question almost mockingly. "Dude, you can't just stay in here all spring break you've gotta come do something." Sero chimed in right after, "Me and Tenki were just about to head up to the park, Midoriya and the rest of the crew are gonna be there it's supposed to be some sort of grilling and cooking thing? Not sure. I know Endeavors gonna be there cooking. Not sure if that's a great idea..." He stared off to the side with a slight laugh. I nodded immediately, almost halfway through his sentence. "Count me in, you guys get a head start and I'll be on my way. The pair nod and head on down, after I hear the door close, I close my own door and hop into something more comfortable. Simple shirt, shorts, shoes. Good to go, I run downstairs and make at way off to the little cookout get-together.Everyone looked incredibly confused but still happy as I arrived, a few people asking who told me to come, a few others just glad to see me. It was weird, seeing Endeavor at the grill cooking, instead of in a costume fighting villians. Even weirder that Todoroki didn't end up coming to the party. But no-one seemed to really notice, so I guess it was planned that way. After an hour or so had passed, Katsuki had shown up sporting a way more casual look than usual and showing off a lot more; a tank top, shorts, and flip-flops. He looked like some kid on a beach who just didn't want to be there.
"What's that look for? Eyes broken?" The remark caught me off guard, but from the look on his face he didn't want to be wearing it either. "Nag, just astounded you'd show up looking like that-" "WHAT, DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY CLOTHES!?" Laughter follows from the crowd as I pat his shoulder to comfort his worry "don't worry dude you look fine." He calms down and runs a hand through his disheveled hair. "Damn right." He gives an awkward smile and turns to Endeavor. "So you're cooking? Now I'm not sure if I want to eat." He laughs to himself and Endeavor quickly brushes off the remark and continues cooking.
The rest of the night is calm and peaceful, only riling up after food was served from Midoriya taking a lot for himself. I don't know where that little guy puts it all, he's like a bottomless pit. After we all eat, silence ensues. The moon and stars appear and we're all left there by Endeavor, after he headed back home. Everyone in the class lay there sprawled out on benches, and chairs they brought with them. Bakugou just laying on the ground acting all tough like he doesn't need a place to sit. I motion for him to get up on the bench and he just gives me a plain stare almost seeming confused. I whisper, "just sit up here dude no-one's paying attention and no-one really cares." He reluctantly gets up and sits on the bench leaning back to look up at the sky. Midoriya is the first to get up from his chair. "Well everyone, it's late and we should get home, it's not safe to be out this late." Bakugou seems to nod in agreement, his hair nodding in the breeze that followed. He got up sleepily and waved goodbye to the group, as he was headed off my hand caught his arm "Hey Bakugou?.." He turned around. "Yeah? What's up." I take a moment and look at him my nerves overcoming me, "I like your uh, your shirt it's pretty cool." He looks at me confused and shakes his head "Uh, yeah thanks you too man." He turns back, shoves his hands in his pockets and begins to walk away. I whisper to myself under my breath,
"I'll find another day, to tell you I love you..."
