SILVER

The First day

Today is going to be horrible. It's my first day of firethorne high and I am absolutely terrified , this is going to be horrific.

The bus stopped at the corner of my street and I was still inside my house.

I ran outside , to get to the bus stop. as soon as I reached the bus stop the bus was gone.

I walked back home to go call my dad to take me to school.

My mom died when I was young , so it has just been just me and him for a while.

We arrived , and my dad told me to have a good day but all I could think was "welcome to hell silver."

I walked into homeroom but all the seats were taken and all eyes were on me.

"Ms.James?"

"Yes?"

"You can take a seat at my desk for today , I am Mrs.Walsh."

"Class this is Silver James , she will be joining us for the rest of the school year."

A girl from the back of the classroom who seemed to be in the "popular" crowd got up from her desk and asked

" Is Silver seriously your name?"

"Yes."

"I'm sorry."

Trying not to come off as a bad person I decided to do the noble thing and say

"Thanks..."

I took the seat at the teachers desk.

2nd period

For second period I had gym.

I went into the locker room and found locker 103 , there was a girl getting her stuff from her locker and she looked friendly so I said

"Hi. I'm silver."

"Andi."

"Wow I love your name."

"Thanks silver is really pretty."

"That girl didn't seem to think so." I said pointing to the girl from homeroom.

"Oh...that's Emma. around here she's sort of the queen bee."

"And you listen to her?"

"Well I don't but I paid for it..."

"What do you mean?"

"Last year... there was this guy... she took him."

"I'm sorry."

"It's cool.So after gym wanna eat lunch together?"

"Sure."

3rd period

Third period was very quiet but there was this really cute guy in the middle of the classroom. He looked nice but he was with the crowd of popular kids so I decided to not put to much thought into it.

After school I walked home , like all the other kids. I got to my house door when I realized something , the cute boy from third period is going into the house across from mine.

We're neighbors.
