The vet had rapped my wing up and I was growing restless in my stall. Joel wouldn't let me out.  It was nighttime and I decided sense no one was around I would shift. I thought about my human body and shifted.  I unlocked the stall and walked out. I walked out of the stable and ran into a strong body. Oh no. "Hello miss are you ok?" He asked and his voice made me shiver. I looked up.

He held his hand out for me to take it and I did. He quickly picked me up and pinned me to a wall. "Mate" he said and I just patted his head. "Yeah yeah......um you see I have to leave now" I started to walk off only to be pinned against the wall again and I just snorted

I just rolled my eyes. "Ice queen you do realize you just snorted like a......dragon....." I avoided his gaze "I have no clue what your talking about miss.princess" I said smirking getting him back for calling me ice queen.  "Uh huh" I gave him a cheeky smile. He then looked into the stable and noticed that my stall door was open. He dragged me by my wrist and he started pacing. "We're is she?!?!" He looked at me. Then a couple males came running in. Some looking at me with lust in their eyes. If I was my dragon right now I would snap at them. Joel stood in front of me and growled while the warriors looked away and showed their neck in submission. "We're is sky" I scoffed that name is getting on my nerves. The men looked at me and I noticed my mistake. "Ice queen why did you scoff? Have a problem" I just smiled at him "here name is ice thank you very much" they stared at me in confusion. Crap me and my big mouth. "Um we are close friends, she saved me from rouges before" Joel looked at me "uh huh" he then held my wrist tighter. Dumb butt that is my freakin wrist are you trying to break my wrist. He held it tighter just now realizing the bandages on my arm. I snatched my arm away and hid it behind me "uh huh......so what happened to your arm" pfft. "Um you see I was in a tree when I heard strangers coming so I started to run but they threw something over me and it wrapped around my arm, so yeah"  a man looked at me "you know that is a
Exactly what happened w-" I cut him off "pfft!yeah awesome!!!" I ran out the door. They started to chase me but I disappeared. I climbed up a tree and shifted. I started to run back when I fell into a hunters trap. (When there is a hole in the ground and they have fake leaves over it) I screeched hoping that my mate would hear me and me being lucky. "Boys she is down here" I looked up and saw my handsome mate. I snorted and tried to fly out but fell on my back. I winced in pain when I hit my back. "Easy, Easy dont keep struggling. Your just going to hurt yourself" I snorted I paced back and forth. Stupid wing. The rest of his warriors came running with a rope. They tried to rope it on me but me being stubborn I snapped the rope. I snarled. "Ok ice" my head shot straight to him. He used my name, my real dragon name!! He chuckled "I ran into a old friend of yours" I mentally chuckled. He actually believed that story. They tried with the rope again and I let it go around my neck and they pulled me up. I let out a soft humming sound and I nuzzled everyone in thanks. We then walked home.
"What is wrong alpha?" One of his warriors asked and Joel just sighed
"We never found my mate again" all the warriors looked upset
"We will go look for her tomorrow morning alpha and we will find out Luna"Joel just sighed and smiled. We got to the stable again and they put me in the stall.
"Goodnight Ice" And with that he kissed my muzzle and I felt tingles shoot up my body.

As I kissed her muzzle I felt little tingling but thought it was because of kissing my mate not to long ago.i went to bed upset that I couldn't have my mate by my side, god how I missed her smell and her angelic voice. Her attitude needed work but I went to sleep knowing she could protect her self.

I woke up and went straight to sky, I mean ice because for some reason I felt like I was being pulled to her. I just don't understand it.      When I got into the stables I checked on ice's wing and it seemed to be getting better everyday now. And I only hope she was getting along with the other dragons. "Hey ice" I cooed and she just nuzzled me. I hooked a lead rope to her bridle and led her out, I decided it would be a good idea to take her out for a walk to get some of that energy out and plus I might be able to find my mate. I looked at ice and she reminded me of my old dragon black sly. He was my first dragon and he lived for the 16 years of my life. He would still be alive now ,because normal dragons live 19-30 years but shifters live until a month after their mate dies or if a accident Happens, but he protected me from a pack of rouges. I came out of thoughts when Ice nudged me. I looked at her confused but she did a dragon smirk and started to flutter around. She couldn't do a real fly but seeing her being able to flutter her wings around made me see her free spirit so I did what anyone would do even if it brought me misery. I let her go.
