Dear "Best Friend."

Hey you! Really cool person! That I just happened to be so lucky to be friends with! I'm gonna be honest, I've asked your mates what you think about me. And! I'm so very glad to know you love me! but not in the way I want you to. I've been meaning to talk to you about something The words Best Friend. What do they mean to you? A person you could never lover romantically? Or platonically like a sibling? Is it only one-sided? You don't love me. Not in the way I want you to. the whole "We're just friends" card if you play it too many times one of us will get hurt and it's probably gonna be me. and as your good or so-called "Best friend" I've listened to you go on and on about your failed love life asking "where do the good boys/girls go?" well little do you know you put us in the friend zone or when you have a crush on someone. and there all you talk about How do you think it makes us feel when all you ever do is talk about the person again and again. It just... sucks so maybe i was just a stranger to you? is that all we are obviously we could listen to you talk forever and ever, but all we'll ever be is "Best friends" We pay attention to most little details about you, why won't you ever notice us? Or if we ever get the courage to ask you out it's either "I'm not ready" or "I see you as just a friend sorry" 2 hours later your fluttering over someone who doesn't care about you.  But what do I know? I'm just a "Best Friend " to you.
