A room is decorated beautifully with balloons and colourful ribbons. One pretty little girl enters the room having a blindfold on her eyes, guided by a boy. He opens her blindfold, revealing the room and a smile takes place on her face as she sees the beautiful room in front of her eyes. "Happy Birthday day Anika", the boy surprises her with a full grin on his face, knowing that she so—is going to like it. "S, you did this for me? I thought that you forgot about my birthday", asked Anika—happily, but with a mere hint of sadness in her voice.

"I will never forget your Birthday Anika. Even I'll forget mine, but never yours. You are my best friend."

* * *

A lone tear escaped her eyes. "You were lying S, you forgot about my birthday. You always lied."
It was Anika's 25th birthday and she was sitting on her bed, recalling the times she loved the most. Those days were the best days of her life and she wants them back, but Anika also knew that there wasn't even a single chance for that as she'd lost Shivaay.

"I never lied Anika. Even if I want to, then also I'm not able to forget your birthday. Happy Birthday to my long lost 'FAKE' best friend."

Shivaay was standing near the window in his room, also recalling those precious days of his life. Who could've imagined that his friendship with Anika will take this worst turn that they won't even want to see each other? She was his first best friend and he'd spent every single day of his childhood roaming around their houses with her. Shivaay sometimes even—thought of calling her, but then stops when he recalls the worst day of his life and what she did to him at that night of their college reunion. He cannot talk to Anika because—she had lost him.

*buzz.....buzz.....* As Anika's doorbell rang—she tiredly woke up and went to attend the person ringing the doorbell, this early in the morning. When she opened the door, she knew it was a postman—guessing from his uniform. The postman smiled, and gave her the courier in her hand. "Happy Birthday mam", wished he—before parting. Anika smiled. With the courier in her hand, she sat on her bed unwrapping the postcard which had her name written on it. It was the courier from a company called 'Cloud 9', a company to which she'd applied for a job some days before. As she read the letter, she can't believe her own eyes as they'd accepted her job proposal and she was delighted that it happened to be her birthday when she got this news. Working for 'Cloud 9' was her dream job and now her dream is going to come true. She was thrilled with happiness as she started preparing for her new job.
