'Being here has been boring, all I do is sit around, awaiting the day I leave' She started to write. 'I'm now 13, I know I'm never leaving'. She finished
"Dinner girls!" a lady shouts from the kitchen far below.
The girl ran down 3 flights of stairs hoping she won't be late and get in trouble again.
"Your late" the lady says
"But your not the last one, now sit down" she continued
"Hey Millie, over here!" a young girl says.
"Were you writing again?" the girls asks.
"Yeah, but I can't help it, writing is my passion" Millie says.
"Have you got a hobby?" Millie asked.
"I love to play soccer" the girl stated.
"Mackenzie, anyone come today?" Millie asked.
"No" Mackenzie says.
The next 6 years dragged on. Millie's best friend Mackenzie had been adopted out to a family, but she came back, only to get cancer, she sadly passed away.
When Millie turned 20, the ladies at the orphanage kicked her out and had given her about $300 to live off. Millie found a job at the local supermarket, she now earns only a small amount of $13.50 an hour.
After 3 years of living with nothing, Millie was able to afford a very tiny house.
In her free time, Millie has written around 400 different stories, that had inspired a colleague of hers to pursue her dreams.
"Millie, you should get these published, you could become famous" her new best friend Sarah stated.
"Seriously?, I wrote some of these when I was 13, some are not good enough to publish, no one would want to read stories like these". Millie said.
"Millie, these stories could be made into proper chapter books" Sarah said.
"There's a meet and greet with Theana Smith in 2 days, I'm lucky enough to be organising this, I know you love her, so I asked her if she'd like to read your stories, she said yes so I sent her a copy, she loves it and would love to have a 1 on 1 with you when she stops by" Sarah continued
Millie's mouth had dropped, her face a turned red.
Millie agreed to go with Sarah to meet Theana.
Theana had told Millie that she should make them into real chapter books and have them published using her publisher.
2 years later Millie had just finished writing her favourite story into a chapter book, Millie had sent a copy to Theana who had approved and had sent it to get published straight away.
To start off, Millie had small group of fans, they were all looking forward to a new book by.
Millie had published her second book about 1 year and a half after her first book. More and more people started to like her 2 books.
Theana had become Millie's friend.
One day Theana invited Millie to be her plus one at The Author Awards, one of Millie's dreams had just come true.
Millie still only had around 400-500 fans.
'The New York Times' had asked Millie of they could give her a sample of one of her books, Millie gave them a little bit of her first book.
Millie's career had taken off after that, a lot more people had noticed her books, she ended up profiting on the sales of her books.
About 1 year after that she became the longest ever 'New York Times Best Selling Author', she held that record for 5 weeks. She then had been noticed internationally for her books.
2 years later, Millie had been nominated for an award at The Author Awards, she was going up against Theana Smith, Izzy Banks, Samual Jones and Dylan Jordan, who have also been 'The New York Times Best Selling Author' for a while like Millie.
"And the winner is" one of the presenters said.
"Millie Smith, on her amazing work 'Forever Lost'". The presenter continued.
Millie's career went skyrocketing after the award. Millie had fans internationally.
Millie had found the love of her life Camron Adams. They decided to get married after 2 years of being together, they went to New Zealand for the marriage ceremony.
After 3 years of being married Millie and Camron had a child, they had a daughter, they named her Mackenzie, after the loss of Millie first best friend at the orphanage.
Millie became the most famous author of her time. Millie had another two children, she had twins, she had a boy and a girl, they named them Isabella and Sebastian.
Millie and Camron had lived till they were both in their 90's. Camron died before Millie at the age of 92. Millie died at the age of 97.
Millie had made 20 other books, including 2 biographies, she sold a total of 6,997,677 copies of all her books. 3 books were made into movies.
Millie's children had become successful, Mackenzie had become a world famous actress, Isabella had become a author like her mum and Sebastian had become a world famous singer.
Millie was proud of who she was, she never let anyone drag her down. Millie's fans loved her, they had made a beautiful collage of there favourite moments of Millie.
