Truth or Dare

~Y/N POV~

"Please come on" Shawn begged and I pouted.

"I drove you here, isn't that enough?" I rolled my eyes and he shook his head, pulling me out of the car.

"Cameron is here.....we can stay away from him if you want?" he turned to face me, right before we went in the party

"it's fine Shawn." I assured him.

Shawn thinks  Cameron likes me  but honestly we're just friends, besides I like Shawn.

we've been best friends for as long as I can remember.

he shrugged his shoulders and walked in, me not far behind.

as soon as we stepped inside, the smell of liquor filled my nose and the music got even louder than it was outside.

A few guys were headed our way and Shawn grabbed my hand.

"come on" He whispered, pulling me up the stairs.

Shawn always protected me from anyone he thought would hurt me and I loved that, nut what he didn't know is that he was the one hurting me the most.

we walked into a room where all of our friends were.

"Oh great, we're playing truth or dare" Nash raised his cup at us

"Yeah y/n, come sit over here" Cameron called out and I could feel Shawn tense up.

I let go of his hand and sat down by Cameron, Shawn sitting on the other side of me.

"Truth or Dare Nash" Jack G asked 

"Truth"

"are you gay?" Jack blurted out and everyone lauhed

"I don't know. let's find out" Nash slurred, getting on his knees and Kissing Gilinsky on the lips.

we all hollered and they pulled apart

"Cam, Truth or Dare?" Nash switched gears

"Dare. I ain't no bitch"

"I dare you to kiss y/n"

just as Cameron started to get close Shawn pushed him back.

"No." Shawn spoke firmly.

"dude, relax. it's a dare."

"I don't care." Shawn got up and held his hand out, which I took immediately.

"Ohhhh I see. You like her" Cameron pointed to me and Shawn just walked out, dragging me along.

by the time we had gotten out of the house I pulled my hand from his.

"You can't protect me from all boys you know" I crossed my arms.

"Yes I can" He gritted his teeth.

'No you can't" I argued

"Just get in the car." He grumbled

"No,I should go back in there and kiss him."

I watched Shawn's jaw clench and he shook his head.

"He will hurt you y/n"

"So do you. You hurt me everyday"

I threw my arms down.

"How do I hurt you? All I do is protect you" He yelled

"Because you asshole, I fucking love you. I want to kiss you. Not Cameron"I yelled back and pushed past him, walking to the car.

"wait"

i ignored him

he grabbed my arm and i flinched away

"Don't touch me right now." I whipped a tear off with my sleeve.

I had been holding this in for so long and although it felt good to say, I ruined our friendship.

he placed his other arm on my back and pulled me in to kiss him.

"What if i touch you like that?" He whispered and I chuckled

"I'm Okay with that"
