Tick Tick Tick

The clock on the wall filled the silent room with that noise. It was quiet beyond the three human boys that sat in the living room. The brothers had left them to make their decision. Though there was no rush at all, well there kind of was with Jungkook being quite ill.

Jin sat there hunched over with his hands clasped together as he stared down at them with a blank face. Yoongi sat on the arm of the chair by Jungkook, who sat slumped in it. His eyes were closed, he was resting but staying up to hear what his brothers had to say. This was all, weird, yet nerve wrecking. Well mostly for Jin, he did not know what to do or what to think of the offer they had gotten.

Jin was so confused, worried and unsure of everything now. He wanted to protect his little family. He wanted to do what was best for them. He is all they have left, and they depend on him to do the best and right thing. What is the right thing to do? Be happy without the fear of dying from an illness or harm killing them. It all sounded good, they were going to be well taken care of. Yet, the worry and fear that stayed prominent was becoming...one of them.

A monster, a beast in human form that drinks the blood of all innocent and guilty humans. It was like they were gambling their souls for all great fortune.

Jin brought his clasped hands to rest against his mouth and nose. He shook his head, closing his eyes at the thought.

"Look...Jin, why don't we say yes...It wont hurt, it is not like we have anything else to lose." Yoongi finally spoke, snapping Jin out of his thoughts. Jin slowly raised his head not saying a word, he did not what to say. "All we have..is each other and if we say yes, we have them too..." Jungkook spoke with his eyes remaining closed. "I don't know about you but me and Kookie are tired of living like this...it sucks ass. We want to regain control of our lives again, I want to not have a single fear of anything anymore." Yoongi clenched his fist.

"So what if we become of them...that will put us on top...it'll make us powerful." Yoongi smirked at the idea. Jungkook could only nod in agreement. "I have been thinking about this for a long time Jin, I wanted to become one of them for a long time..." Jungkook paused and opened his eyes halfway. Staring at his brother that sat before him. "To be honest, I was going to leave this life behind...but if I did that would mean I am leaving my brothers behind..." Jungkook looked at Yoongi from the corner of his eye.

Yoongi had been with them way too long, he was not just a best friend to them, he is a brother. That pulled at Yoongi's heart strings. Never would he confess how soft and happy that made him feel. To be and have an actual family for once was more than enough. To make his family stronger and happy was even better.

"Now that I get the chance to take you two with me...I wont look back..." Jungkook smiled weakly. "Yeah, I wont look back on this sorry life of mine..." Yoongi agreed. "Wont you do the same Jin?"

Jin sat there, eyes a bit wide and mouth slightly open. He stared at his brothers long and hard. He bit his bottom lip and looked back down. "I..I don't want to become one of them...yet I want whats best for the both of you...I don't matter..." Jin sniffled and ran his hands down his face.

Before Jin knew it arms wrapped themselves around him. Jin looked up to find his brothers holding him. "You do matter, you matter to us...and you really matter to Namjoon..." Jungkook snuggled Jin. "Leave this horrible life behind with us Jin...you wont have to suffer anymore, you will be free and you will be happy and stronger than ever...what else is there to lose?" Yoongi whispered into his ear.

"Let's forget it all and never look back...pure happiness and love for all eternity...this is your chance to start over, isn't that what you wanted?" Jungkook whispered in the ear.

Jin stared ahead to the clock on the wall, his mouth slightly opened. A new start, no worries, no fears, love and happiness for all eternity. It was something that Jin always wanted, he hated his life. There was never much good in it, not even when his parents were alive. All the horrible things he encountered.

He felt the low of the lowest and he was sick of it. He wanted to be on top, he wanted to be in control again. "Do it Jin..." Yoongi whispered. "Do it Jin..." Jungkook whispered. "It'll all be fine again...I promise." Jungkook smirked. Yoongi and Jungkook's one hand covered Jin's eyes.

Namjoon walked up with his eyes glowing red as he undid the cuff on his shirt. He pulled out a small switch blade from his pocket. He stood to the side of Jin as Yoongi and Jungkook slowly pulled his head back to rest against the chair. They kept his eyes covered. Namjoon brushed his fingertips down the side of Jin's cheek down to his collarbone. The sensation made Jin shiver, his lip quivered. Those cold fingers, the sweet and gentle fingers that Jin came to love so much in little time.

"Time to let it all go..." Namjoon smiled before slitting his wrist. He brought his bleeding wrist a few inches above Jin's mouth. A drop of blood splashed against his lips. Jin's tongue inched out to lick it. He shivered at the taste of it, unlike the human blood he had once or twice tasted in his life. Jin gulped, more blood came splashing onto his lips.

He partially opened his mouth to let the blood fall inside. Yoongi and Jungkook smirked at each other with a slight dark glint in their eyes. Namjoon brought his wrist against Jin's mouth for him to drink even more. Jin laced his fingers with Namjoon's fingers as he pressed his wrist further into his mouth.

The clock struck midnight, the loud gong rung throughout the house. This was the beginning to his new life.
