"Get yourself together Lydia, it's not like this is the end of the world!" Lydia says pacing around the room nervously.
Today was the first "date" she and Edgar will really have. As soon as this month ends, they have to go their separate ways to run errands, and travel out of town. The couple had recently gotten engaged when Edgar pulled the question out of nowhere, during their visit back at Scotland.
"How unromantic..." Lydia mumbled to herself.
"wait, why am I disappointed!?" But as soon as she said those words she looked up and said. "its not like he actually loves me, or anything."
"Lydia!" As a familiar voice came echoing from the halls. A tall and slim figure approaches her. "Ah" she thought, it was Edgar-Edgar Ashenbert, the blue knight earl... her fiancée.
As those words quickly raced through her head, Lydia felt herself blush ever so slightly. "I can't let myself get carried away" she thought.
"What is it, Lydia? why're you blushing already?" Edgar leans over and stares at Lydia's peridot green eyes.
"I-i'm not blushing" Lydia knew in her heart Edgar didn't have any deeper feelings for her, than she had for him. Edgar was content with the simple fact of being together, but Lydia wanted more than that. More than words to show how she felt. But she couldn't possibly bring herself to say such embarrassing things to Edgar.
