"Hey honey." Mum calls as I close the door.

"Hey."

"How was school?"

"Good as usual. I got excellence in English on my essay."

"That's great." She exclaims proud of me. Although also sounding distracted.

"Yeah." I mutter walking to my room.

At the end of the hall is my room. The walls are black which makes my room look extremely gothic but one of the walls is almost completely a window so it is always bright in my room at day. My room is normally quite tidy; just a few spear clothes flopped on the floor. I have I hook on my door to hang my bag but I never use it. I normally just fling it down beside my desk.

My queen sized bed sits in the far corner against the window wall, covered with a pink and white duvet (I know its girly.) beside my bed is my draws and opposite is my desk. My laptop always sits close on my desk plugged into the charger. I used to never use my laptop when my dad got at the age of 10. I don't know why he thought I wanted one I was still a little kid and used the family computer more. But now I've figured out how to work it and we've got it connected to the Wi-Fi I use it all the time to email Leo and write.

Once I'm changed back out of my uniform I collapse on the bed happy to just relax.

"Ahhh," I sigh out at the comfort of my cloud like bed.

My bed was my mum and dad's old one but it's bouncy and soft so I decided I wanted to keep it more than my cruddy old single. For a minute I lay there temped to just close my eyes and let my dreams take me away. But I know if I sleep now I'll be too awake for tonight. So instead I work on my maths homework, then a little English, then science. Wow school doesn't give me a break, does it?

'bidoop' my laptop beeps disturbing me from my science. I open it up logging on with my password. Seeing the notification telling me I have one new message. I open it up to find it's from Leo.

'Hey, we haven't talked in a while we need to catch up. You haven't sent me anymore of your story in like a month. But I've got school soon so I'll message you later tonight.

Cya

Leo'

'Yeah I've wrote another few chapters you'll have to tell me what you think. And you have to send some more drawings.

Bye

Angel

I reply excited about tomorrow I always enjoy talking to him and miss him when I'm not.

'bidoop' snaps my attention back to the screen.

'Send the chapters now then I can read them on the bus to school.

Leo'

'Sure, they're in the attachment.

Angel'

'K, I'll email you tonight.

Leo'

I don't know why but even after short chats like that I feel a buzz, he just brings my mood up.

"Tea," mum calls from the living room.

"Coming." I yell back.

None of my friends know me and Leo are still talking. Plus if I told them they would do the whole sort of 'Ohhh, Angels got a boyfriend, they're so in love and they're totally going to get married.' But then I'd have to explain were just friends. I mean even if we did decide to date it would be awkward because were more like brother and sister. Then they'd just go back to 'Well then we need to get you a boyfriend,' Man, sometimes friends can be so annoying.
