***Justin's POV***

I moaned regretfully when I came into consciousness and regained control over my throbbing body. I squeezed my eyes shut even more tightly to try to block out the light rays of the sun, but it didn't help much so I peeled them open, my head throbbing with every heartbeat.

I was lying on the floor, looking up at the ceiling, which is why my body was hurting like hell, I'd been laying on the floor all night. A sudden wave of nausea swept over me and I got up, faster than lightening and ran to the kitchen sink where I bent over and vomited.

I turned around and leaned against the counter once again wondering why I had drank so much. I almost expected to see my wonderdul girlfriend, Jen, walk into the kitchen, wearing one of my shirts that would be too big for her slender, curvaceous, body and would end halfway down her thighs, her brown hair would be all messy.

I snapped out of my daze as i wondered why she wasn't indeed walking in, and why she had let me drink this much. I couldnt remember anything from yesterday afternoon.

I walked slowly through the house and shouted Jens name although it made my head hurt, but she wasn't to be found. I finally gave up, and walked back into the living room, holding my throbbing head casting a look at all the empty bottles on the floor. I stood abruptly. Jen had been here. I remember her vaguely now, standing in front of me as I sat here. She wasn't happy, but why wasn't she here? Was she mad at me?

I reached for my phone and dialed Jens number. It didn't ring and went straight to voicemail so I hung up. I still couldn't remember why I got so drunk or why Jen would even let me. I knew she wouldn't have approved.

I decided the best thing to do was drive to her place and apologize. I ran out to my car and started the engine heading to her place.

I sped all the way to her house worried about causing her to become so upset to leave last night and knew I needed to talk to her and soon. When I got there I saw her car parked in the drive way and knew she was home.

I quickly got out and wobbled my way up to her front door best I could, still recovering from last night. I knocked a couple of time waiting for her a response but got nothing. I finally pulled out my set of spare keys and entered her house.

It was completely silent, too silent.

"Jen?" I shouted loudly, but heard no answer.

"Are you home?" I shouted again, but got nothing.

"Where on earth is she?" I muttered to myself and tried calling her again, but she still didn't pick up.

I sighed frustrated and confused. I knew she had nothing planned for today so where could she be? I finally calls Courteney and she answered.

"greetings."

"Hey, Court. I was just wondering if you knew where Jen was?" I asked quickly before she could slip one of her jokes in.

"um no, she told me she was going home with you and spending all day with you?" Courteney asked confused

"so you have no idea where she is?"

"No, sorry, is she really not with you?" she sounded curious.

"No, she isn't at my place or hers."

"didn't she come home with you?"

"uh..." I stopped for a second and thought. "no, I remember her going with someone, and then coming home but quickly leaving."

"Sounds like you were hammered." Courteney criticized.

"Yeah, I was, dunno why though." I admitted, disappointed in myself.
