Chapter 5(✿❛◡❛)

"Jane! Jewel and Amanda are here." I heard my mom shout from downstairs.

What? already?

"Okay I'll be down in a minute." I  replied while quickly putting on some lip gloss and brushing down my hair.

I grabbed my purse and my phone and headed out of my room but paused in front of the door taking another look back to make sure I'm not forgetting anything because I can be really forgetful most of the times.

"You guys are early." I said while  walking down the stairs looking directly at Amanda and Jewel.

"Oh, we're right on time-you just move too slow." Jewel said while smirking.

"Hm,Whatever you say." I said shrugging.

"Well..... What are waiting on? let's go!" Amanda Chirped.

"Bye mom."

"Bye misses April. "Amanda and Jewel said in a unison.

"Bye girls."

"Wow these dresses are so beautiful I don't know even what dress to buy," Jewel said while looking around in amusement.

"Don't worry you'll find the perfect one."I said while looking around the store.

" Yeah, I know."

"You should definitely buy this one!" Amanda smirked while holding up a long black dress that revealed a lot of cleavage which also had an open back and long laced sleeves.

My eyes widened a little.

You see, I'm not the kind of person who wears revealing clothes because they makes me feel naked and exposed, I wore a revealing dress once at a reception where my dad works, it was a long sleeved burgundy dress with a slit at the side starting from my ankle coming straight up to my thighs and the entire back of the dress was also opened out, that was the most uncomfortable moment of my life and I had no other choice but to wear it because my mom had already bought it without me knowing and she said that we were supposed to wear something fancy.

"Nu-uh, I think that's a little too much for me, Jewel refused while quickly shaking her head.

Maybe I'll wear that on our second date, she said with a smirk.

but for now I want something sweet and simple but not too simple."

"M-kay suit yourself, lame-O" Amanda said while putting the dress back.

"Shut up." Jewel laughed.

"How about this one? It's pretty cute." I said while holding up a nude colour dress with thin straps that was knee length with a beautiful flaw at the bottom.

"I like this one I'll go try it on," Jewel said while taking the dress and heading into the change room.

**3 minutes later**

"Oh my gosh!" I heard Jewel squealed from inside the changing room.

"Are you alright in there?" Amanda asked while placing her  hands on the door.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine it's just-this dress, it's-it's perfect!"

"Well, what are you waiting on come on out and let us see,"I said while jumping and clapping my hands.

"Okay, here I come."she said while opening the door.

"O.M.G." Amanda said putting her hands over her cheeks.
