PLOT: Betty Brant spends a lot of time working on the news at Midtown High. She uses it to distract herself from Liz's departure from New York. Her parents think she spends way too much time, however, and decide to let Betty pick on movie night, Betty decides to watch a broadway musical about newspaper boys in NYC. It seemed harmless enough, until Betty falls in love with the musical, skipping around and dancing to every word.
But, Betty's (now) addiction with the musical causes her to become friends with Alexander, the shining star of the (very small) theatre department at Midtown who also has a ginormous passion for the broadway musical. So when Betty comes to the realization that she likes him, things turn upside down, and not for the worse. Betty was once only focused on her work, not even bothering to talk to other human beings except when she's reporting. But now she's found something to enjoy for the first time in forever. And it might have to do with Alexander McCoy.
PLOT NOTES: Ok, this has to be my favorite plot, so someone please take this from me because I'll write it in a heartbeat. Also, Betty needs a hecka ton of love, so here's a super fluffy fic with a ginormous possibility for character development! One thing you must keep is the FC. I really think Alberto would do a good job playing the theatre geek. Also, make sure if they do go on dates, have them watch a broadway musical on one of their's tv or something.
