I am a victim of bullying, my mom and dad are separated. I live in Tondo Manila with my dad who drinks everyday, wastes his time and money for club girls. My mom left me when I was 8, I never saw her since then. I am already 16 years old. I'm the only kid in the school who doesn't drive a car, or date pretty girls, I even always fail in my class. I guess I should just accept this kind of life. My name is Christian James Rodriguez.
Today's the first day of summer which means just playing video games in my room while waiting for the next meal time. When supper was over, I thought to my self, "Am I going to live my lifer like this?" and I realized that: "Yes!" Gosh! I hate this life.
One rainy day, I went outside to throw our garbage, but I saw a girl next door, all wet and crying, so I went to her and asked her, What's wrong miss?, and then she replied, "Nothing, it's none of your business!" so I went back inside our house wondering why was she crying.
When summer was over, It was already the first day of class and I was not that excited about it because i knew that the same guys would still bully me, Edrian, Karl, Justin and Manuel. When the bell rang, I sat on the last row and suddenly someone grabbed me and said, "I sit here!" When I looked up, it was those guys I've been trying so hard to avoid anyway, so I had no choice but to transfer to the front row.
We we're already introducing ourselves and suddenly someone knocked on the door, and said " I'm very sorry I'm late sir!" and our teacher said "sit beside Mr. Fernan" and I realized that she was the girl crying in the rain, so when she sat, I said, "Hi!" she replied and said, "Hi, I'm sorry for what happenned in the rain, forget it! My name is Lianne Reyes, and you are?" I answered "Oh, I'm Christian James Rodriguez." She smiled and acted like she was my friend until dissmissal time.
When I got home, I jumped to my bed and just kept on thinking about her. The second day of school I was already fixing my hair, wore the best clothes that I have. When I arrived to school I saw her come out in a freaking Lamborghini! and was wondering who is she kissing with? and peeked who was driving the car, and saw a handsome guy, and later asked her who was that guy she kissing with and she answered, He's my boyfriend!" so when I arrived home I jumped to bed and slept to make the sadness go away.
What is this place, is this a dream? everyone who lived in that place were all very happy, there we're no bullies, no guys smoking. I walked around and saw a very lovely girl walking with her dog, so I went to her and said "Hi, What's your name?" she replied "I'm Athena, you are?" i replied "Christian James" and I felt something shaking, and when I opened my eyes, the phone was ringing, it was my alarm. I said" it was just a dream! just a dream".
Since then, my feelings for Lianne was suddenly lost. and I was always sleeping in my class trying to reconnect the dream I had last night, but I never dreamed about her again. until one night, I came home very tired from practice, so I slept very early, and dreamed of her we we're already in a relation ship in this dream, when I woke up, I already found a way how to dream of her again. I need to be tired or depressed. So what I did was I already applied for varsity team in basketball so that when I get home, I would be very tired, and it worked.
In every dream, she was always there, but it was never connected to my last dream. In my first dream, she was just a strange, and in my second dream, she was already my girlfriend, and in my third dream, she was just my friend, but i didnt care what we were in my dream. What's important is that I'm dreaming of her.
and in one of my dreams, I saw an old man hugging her wife and saying " I will never forget how we first met" and kissing her in the forehead. and it was already the fourth of July, My Birthday! All of my relatives came, and saw a girl who kept on starring at me, so I went to her and said Hi, and she replied Hi, we introduced ourselves and later became friends.
Just like before I never dreamed of Athena again, When Angel (the girl who I met in my birthday party) confessed to me that she liked me, I was shocked I didnt know what to do that time, so I said, "What, as a friend?" she tried to reply but I said "Oh no! I'm running late! See you. That moment, I already knew what she meant, i like her too but why did I do that? I asked myself.
The next day, i saw her sitting alone in a bench, I went to her and asked her" What are you doing here?" she replied "nothing just thinking of something, Hey! about what i said yesterday, I'm not really sure about it." and I said " Great! you finally made your decision." and when I got home, i was very sad because I just knew that she doesn't really like me.
I dreamed of Athena again, this time she was wearing a very beautiful dress, and I was wearing a very nice suit which I don't know where I got it. I saw boys and girls of my age. Athena came to me and said "are you ready?" and then I replied "Is this the Prom?" she smiled and took my hand. later, we were already dancing and suddenly just woke up.
I continued practicing basketball because i wasn't accepted for the varsity team. I got home very tired, when I reached my room, I layed down on the bed and closing my eyes. I am dreaming of her again, this time we already graduated college and she chose to leave the country, I didn't like my dream because she's leaving me, so I forced myself to wake up.
one week later, it was the first time that I dreamed of her for 7 days straight and our story was continued each day, until one day, in my dream, we were having a date, She was very silent and I asked her "What's wrong?" she replied " Do you love me?" I said "Of course! I LOVE YOU!" she said " prove it!" I said "what do you mean?" she said " For you to prove to me that you really love, you must follow what I will say." I said "OK". Then she gave me a piece of paper and tried to read it, what's written was a place and time. I asked her "what is this all about?" Nobody answered I looked at her but she wasn't there. She suddenly disappeared.
When i got up from bed, I rushed into the shower and took me 30 minutes in shower. then, I fixed my hair, and bought new clothes and wore them and when it was already 6:00 pm I went to the mall where she wanted me to meet her. When I got there Athena wasn't there. I waited for an hour, she didn't arrive. Another hour passed, she still didn't arrive. It was already 10:00 pm, the mall was about to close. I saw a girl sitting alone waiting for somebody.
I went to her and said Hi, are you waiting for someone, she replied uh, I'm okay, said it's okay tell me, are you waiting for someone? she replied please don't laugh but I'm actually waiting for someone in my dream, he said this is where we will meet. I smiled at her feeling relieved and happy.
