Chapter one: The new kid

No Jake, I can't do this again!

I woke up and realised in was the same dream AGAIN. I jumped out of bed and tried to forget it, but it was useless trying. I walked towards my window and drew back the curtains. It was a dark and gloomy day, but thank goodness it was Saturday. Suddenly my cell phone buzzed

Morning sleepy head

I read the text, it was Emily, my bestfriend.

I replied

R u ready yet?

Oh no! I totally forgot. I promised Emily we could go shopping today seeing that her birthday party was next week Saturday. I quickly raced to my closet and chose my outfit. A red polar neck with black leggings, black knee high boots and a red scarf.

I replied and then raced to the bathroom and took a quick shower. 5 Minutes later I was dressed and all that was left to do was my hair. I stood in front if my dressing table and brushed my dark brown hair into a neat pony tail. I exited my room and made my way towards the kitchen. To my surprise the house was empty. I figured my mom was probably outside. I grabed my keys and jogged down the drive way. A few minutes later I stopped outside Emily's house.
