It's been two days (third day today if it counts) since Juvia went out on that mission and everyone's worried.

"Gray you should've gone with her on that mission.." Mira commented as she was cleaning a glass.
"Come on Mira! She's fine! I know it, she's strong." I replied to her smiling, but at the back at my mind I know I should've just went with her. Mira gave me a sigh and walked off, she was worried, it showed. Everyone is.

Someone patted me on the shoulder and I turned around to see Lucy, Natsu right behind her.
"Look Gray, we cant do anything about it. Let's go on a job to get our minds off of things. She might be here when we get back." She gave an encouraging smile. I sighed and nodded. "great!." Lucy walked off to the request bored, Natsu close behind her.

"Why?" Gajeel asked me, which kind of startled me. "What?" I gave him a confused look. "Why didn't you go with her? What if she's hurt and no one can hear her from miles and miles. Gray, tell me why?" I looked at him, emotions scattered all over the place. "Why do you care Gajeel?" I scoffed, this feeling inside my chest, it hurts.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! She's like a sister to me Gray! I've known her for a long time, she must be feeling horrible right now and you keep telling yourself that she's fine!" Soon everyone was looking at us, surprised at Gajeels out burst. Levy was trying to calm him down, much to Levys protest Gajeel started up once again. "Look ice head, if she isn't back I'm looking for her myself and if I find her and she isn't alive then your head is next..." I furrowed my brows.

"Gajeel.... was that a threat?" I asked. He looked away.
"I guess it is." With one final grunt he stormed off, Levy sighed and looked at me.
"Look Gray, as mush as I want to hit you too I can't. I'll talk to Gajeel and calm him down." Levy walked towards Gajeel at the corner of the room. She sat down in front of him and they started to converse.

"Gray I got a mission!" Lucy yelled from behind me. I looked up at her in return she gave me a sympathetic look, "she's going to be fine, the rain has stopped so that means she's probably happily on a train back to the guild"
I gave her a slight smile, in which she accepted it.

Natsu walked over and gave Lucy a nod. Indicating me to get off my butt and start walking out with them.

~train station~

I kicked salamander into the train, once he was in Lucy walked in after him, picked up one of his legs and dragged him to an empty seat.
"Does this happen when you guys do missions with just the two of you?" I asked sitting across from the blondie and the dying pink headed lizard.
"Me dragging him to the train and into a seat? Yes it happens often." Lucy confessed.

Gray nodded and boarded the train. "Since Ezra is out it'll just be the three of us, well counting
Happy" Lucy said, earning an 'aye!' from Happy.

~timeskip to after the job cuz it isn't interesting~

We finally arrived back the guild and there was still no sign of Juvia. Sighing I walked over to the bar, dreading the walk because of the deathly glare from Gajeel.

"Look metal head, sorry that I didn't go with Juvia on that job. I wasn't feeling it that day." I apologized. He gave me a frustrated chuckle.

"Your excuse is trash ice prick." Gajeel fires back at me.
"Well I'm sorry but it's the truth." I countered
"HAHA, I'll believe you when I'm dead!" He growled. He heaved in a breath and walked away, ruffling his hair in the process. I looked away from him and looked at the bar counter. Suddenly a glass of water was in front of me.

"I'd thought you'd need something to cool off." Mira smiled and walked away.

"Thanks..." I drank the glass of water.

I stared at the guild doors just waiting. The doors didn't open and no cheerful blue headed girl came in. So I turned back around facing the bar.

"Hello" Mira greeted to some one behind me.

"Hello! I have a letter for Mr. Dreyer." It was the mailman delivering letters.

"Oh? Which one?." Mira asked the man.

"Umm Makarov Dreyer." The man replied.

"Ahh the Master isn't in right now but I can forward it to him." Mira smiled and the man handed the letter to her.

"Who do you think it's from?" I asked Mira.

"Hmm I don't know Gray, must be from the council?" She suggested back.

"If it was from the council wouldn't the frog guy come instead of the regular mailman." She looked at me and nodded.

"Now that you mention it....well we'll just have to see when master gets back." Mira walks up the stairs to masters office and then emerges back out closing the door behind her carefully.

I sighed again, I'll go home and rest. It's well needed since I went on that job with Nastu and Lucy. As I walked the doors of the guild slowly opened, everyone looks toward it, hoping to find the water mage but to be only shot down when master was scene.

"And here I thought I was gonna get a warm welcome." Master gave a pouty face.

"Stop making that face gramps! It's disgusting." Laxus roared from the balcony.

"Shut it boy!" Master roared back at him. Laxus grunted and turned away, "what will I ever do with him?" Master nodded and walked in.

"Hey gramps." I greeted him.

"Hello my boy, what's with the long face Gray?" Master asked me. He stood hunched, arms crossed behind him.

"What do you mean?" I gave him a puzzled look. He breathed in and gave a loud sigh.

"Care to share your thoughts Gray?" Gramps gestured me to sit with him at the bar, which of course I followed. Before I could even speak Mira went up to us.

"Sorry to bother you guys but there's a letter for you Master. I put it up in your office." Mira smiled and walked off.

"Thank you Mira!" Gramps smiled at the white haired bar maid as she walked off, leaving both of us to converse. 

"Well, it's about Juvia. She hasn't came back yet." I started the conversation. All the while gramps nodded.

"Well, just believe in her. I'm sure she's fine, but that doesn't mean I'm not worried too." Gramps hopped off the bar stool and walked up the stairs. Leaving me in my own thoughts.
