Just A Silhouette In Love

Chapter 1

Shutting my eyes tightly, with shaking hands I lifted the pregnancy test careful not to touch the urine on the stick. I opened my eyes looking at the wall in front of me before looking down. The box said to wait five minutes, the five minutes had dragged and I was positive they were now over. I looked down at the test which also proved to be positive, a smile made it's way onto my face.

"Pregnant" I shouted with a grin swinging the bathroom door open revealing my best friends worried expression. Her expression faltered from worry to ecstatic.

"Really?" Dani asked with a grin.

"Yes, Dani you're pregnant" I squealed with delight. Dani didn't want to look at the test and even after protesting that I didn't want to touch her piss she insisted I told her whether she was pregnant or not.

"What do you think he'll say?" she asked her smile faltering slightly

"Finn will be delighted!"

"You really think so?"

"Okay maybe you'll have to wait a little while to tell him, you don't want to cause another fight" I sighed

"Yeah I guess you're right Ella"

"Or you could go tell him right now. He loves you so much he won't get mad I promise you"

"I want to, I'm just scared. I mean what if the test was wrong I only took one"

"Dani stop making excuses he will support you no matter what and accept the fact you are pregnant. There is a baby growing inside of you an actual human that is so exciting" I grinned

"Ella have I ever told you how much I loved you?" Dani said lifting her bag before leaving my apartment without a goodbye. Typical Dani I just laughed as she left the happiest I had seen her in quite some time. My best friends happiness meant so much to me I always put her before me. Sighing with a smile on my face I lifted Dani's pregnancy test sitting it on the counter of my kitchen I was pretty sure she'd be back soon for it anyways. I was planning to take a quick nap but that plan was cut short as my apartment door swung open revealing to male figures walking in.

"Ella I have something to say which I want you to listen to"

"Um okay go for it" I said with a slight smile

"Two years ago I met you and from that moment I completely and utterly fell in love with you. We've been through so much together both good and bad. Some of those times we didn't have each other but I have made a promise that from now on we won't be alone. Which is why I'm asking to go through the good and bad times left in our lives together, with you. Will you marry me?" any other girl would cry but not me.

"The fuck?"

"You think she'll say yes?" Finn asked with a smile playing on his lips

"I don't know, of course she will" I laughed sitting up on the counter in my kitchen

"Finn what the hell isn't this the girl you're with?" the other guy asked

"Hell no. No offense or anything Ella but I'm with Ella's best friend"

"None taken" I said rolling my eyes

"Did Dani come here last night?" Finn asked

"Yes, she was gushing about how you got back together and how you were so perfect and sweet. Did I mention how you treated her like a princess and how you were both so in love yet she stayed here last night." I said rolling my eyes with a smile on my face.

"You know some day you're going to fall in love and when you do I am going to laugh at you. Some day you're going to realise how amazing it is to be in love"
