He turned the corner of 57th and parked by the ice cream shop. He walked over and opened my door. He grabbed my hand and we walked to the courts there were some little kids playing three little boys and a little girl. "This is where I first met you" I smiled playing back the memory of meeting Melo for the first time. "Yup the place where I seen the girl that I was gonna love for ever" he smiled. "Y/n you know I'm not into that lovely dovy shit but I love you so fucking much you mean the world to me. There is no other women that can give me the same love that you give n there is no other women that can get the same love I give to you baby. You are so amazing and beautiful and it's jus so much to put into words but I have a little present" he said while pulling a box out of his pocket.
He got on one knee and opened the box "y/n Aliyah Rodriguez I promise to love you forever" he said with a smile on his face. "Awwwn Melo this is is so sweet I love you thank you" I said while he put the ring on my finger. He hugged me I started crying "don't cry princess don't cry" he said smiling. "I just love you so much and how much was this I swear if you wasted a lot of money on me and oh my god lamelo it has our names Engraved you did so good baby I love you" I said while kissing him. "Look there kissing" I heard little kids whisper. Me and Melo laughed and turned to the little kids "hey wait I know you your that really good basketball player.." "Melo" the little girl finished for the boy. "Yea melo Ball" they all said. We smiled and walked over to them "wow your really pretty" the little girl said to me. "Awn thank you sweetie" "I know she is" Melo smiled. "Is She your girlfriend" the little girl whispered to Melo. "Yup shes the best girlfriend ever" he said back the little girl whispered to me "is he a good boyfriend?" "Yup he's he best too" I smiled. "Do you guys want to play" I asked the little kids. "Yea of course.

The rest of that day consisted of me the little girl and one of the little boys playing against Melo and the other two boys. Melo and his team beat us but after that we took the four little kids to go get icecream with us. Their mothers thanked us and we left.

While melo was driving he grabbed my hand and kissed it "that ice look good on you mami" he said with a smirk. When we got back to Melos house he got his shoes and changed into some practice clothes. I was texting my aunt letting her know where I'm at she is always worried but she knows that I'm responsible.

Lavar drove us me and melo were in the back seat. "So y/n you already know that the jba league consist of 8 different teams of 8 teenagers in different cities around the US". "Yea" I said "I was thinking what if we make you a coach for our LA ballers and maybe you could get some playing time to just practice" lavar said. "That actually sounds good I'll be more advanced" I agreed with him. "Yea like last time" melo said "but if dudes try anything" "melo I know baby" I said while laying my head on his shoulder.

We got to the gym where the first practice for the LA jba players will be held. They had already picked the other seven guys who will be playing on the LA team.
"Ok you's introduce yourselves then let's get to it" lavar said then went with two of the other coaches looking at some papers.
"Wassup my name is Greg y'all can call me gmoney tho" a lightskin dude with dreads said he had to be at least 6'10 he was tall.
"My name is Taylor" a white guy with dark hair said.
"Y'all Can call me nuski" a short dude with waves said.
The other four guys introduced themselves ~I don't know all there names sorry lemme know if you do know tho~
"N im Melo" they all shook up.
Melo looked at me "I'm y/n I guess im gonna sorta be a extra coach n stuff" I smiled. A few of the guys smiled and 'gmoney' was looking at me and smiled. I smiled back then turned to melo who was already running to start warmups.

"Alright alrighty let's get to it" lavar said. "Lemme see y'all lay-ups 10 each" the boys started. "So y/n I think you can show some of these guys some extra pointers and even some new moves I know you have that really good reverse lay-up that can trip up players when they are guarding you to the basket" he said while watching them do their drill. "Yea I'll be glad to teach em a few things" I said. "Alright guys so we have y/n here today she is gonna be coaching along with us you's give this young lady the respect she deserves" he nodded. "So I'm pretty sure most of y'all know what a reverse lay-up is you seen this done by many players d rose for example has great form with this" i went on. I showed them and they nodded their heads some clapped. "So you's Can mess around with that" I said while passing the ball to melo.
Different coaches worked on different things with the players.

We were now on dunking skills. A lot of people talk shit to melo about not being able to dunk when being over 6'2.
The coach talked to each one and I went up to melo before it was his turn. "You got this baby" I smiled and kissed his cheek cuz he was really sweaty. He went up for the dunk and bam in. They kept doing the drill and each time melo got better and better it's like something clicked in his head.
He was doing it "good job baby" I said going up to him after they had a five minute break. "Thanks princess you motivate me to do my best and more" he said then drank some water.
Practice was over 20 minutes later.
Lavar called everyone together "first practice was a success you guys have to stay motivated and confident alright" Lavar said loudly. "Go home rest up and be ready for practice next week. Make sure you keep up with your daily workout and practices" he said before the guys started getting their stuff and leaving. Gmoney walked up to me while melo went to get his shoes. "Your really good from what I seen today" he said. "Thanks" i said while looking over at melo. Melo walked next to me "oh I'm sorry you two are together right I should've put that together I respect y'all" he said to us. "Yea it's cool thanks for respecting us there are a lot of niggas that try and talk to my girl" melo went on "but anyways how do you like it?" I asked "jba I mean I can help my family my mom and little sister out with stuff, I'm able to show my talent so I like it" he smiled. "Good hopefully we can meet your little sister soon. Right melo" I said. "Yea don't worry we finna have a whole get together with everyone" melo said. "Well I'll catch you's later" gmoney said leaving to a parked car with a women inside 'his mother'.

We've been hanging at my place to the past week so my tia said I could go over Melos today.
Lavar started driving home, we got there and melo took a shower. I was waiting laying on his bed scrolling through my instagram feed. Melo walked out of the bathroom a towel around his waist water dripping down his body. He went to go lock his door.
