TWELVE

  "Meet me at my place after school," Taehyung whispered in my ear as he passed by me in the hallway. I looked at him as he walked away and turned my attention over to my brother who was starring at me furiously. Jungkook made his way over to me and slammed my locker shut.

  "Didn't I tell you to stay away from him?!" Jungkook shouted at me getting everyones attention. 

  " Yes, you did I swear nothing is happening." I looked around as people stared. Jungkook soon realized and walked off. Minah walked up to me and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"You okay?" she gave me a soft smile.

"Yea," I grabbed my things and walked towards the exit of the school. I didn't feel like being there today. Normally I am not the type to ditch school, but today I was feeling it. 

"Hey, where are you going? You have never ditched school." I turned around to see Hyunwoo standing at the door entrance looking at me. He cleared his throat and gripped onto his bag as he approached me. "so, you gonna answer me or what?" I starred into his eyes and suddenly grabbed his hand pulling him towards the front of the school campus.

"Come with me, please?" I continued walking, his wrist in my hand, as he stayed quiet. 

We continued walking until we came across out favorite ice cream parlor. I entered, hyunwoo following shortly behind, taking a seat near the back. I only looked at my hands as I fiddeld with my fingers. 

"Maybe ditching was a horrible idea. I mean Minah is going to kill us for not taking her and  my parents are going to ground me for life." I placed my face in my hands and let out a breathe of air.

"You mean if you are still alive after Minah kills you?" Hyunwoo lightly laughs as I throw the container of napkins at him. Sadly, he catches it. 

"Ugh, you know what I mean stupid. I-I never ditched before I dont know what got into me. What if we get suspended? What if we get...EXPELLED?!" I begin to panic and throw my head back into my arms. Hyunwoo rubs my arm and lets out a small laugh once more.

"We will be fine Jiyeon. The school knows you are a goody goody so if anything they will only give you detention." Hyunwoo shrugs as I look at him in shock. 

"Detention?! I have only gotten to detention for 2 days at most! I don't want anymore detentions!" Yes I know I am being dramatic but come on it is barely going to be the 2nd month of school. I don't need another detention so yes I am freaking out about my stupid decision.

"God, you act like you are going to die. I am going to get us ice cream."Hyunwoo stood up and walked towards the front of the store to order. The bell of the parlor dinged making me turn towards the door. I was surprised to see a face that vanished after the first time I saw him, Uli. 

I starred at him as he looked at me as well. Uli began to make his way to my table, still not breaking eye contact. I looked at him as he took a seat where Hyunwoo was once seated. 

"Haven't seen you around much, doll." He gave me his uneven smile as he leaned back into the chair.

"I could say the same for you. Shouldn't you be in school right now?" I place my hand on my face realizing how stupid that question was. Uli scoffs as he leans foward.

"I could say the same thing for you. Did you not go in at all today or were you feeling rebellious and decided to ditch?" Hyunwoo cleared his throat causing my attention to drift towards him. He was holding the ice cream cones in his hand as I scooted over to let him sit.

"Hyunwoo, this is Uli. Uli, this is Hyunwoo." I smiled as I grabbed my ice cream and began eating it.

"I am guessing this is your boyfriend?" I choke on my ice cream and look at Hyunwoo and back to Uli.
