Road to salvation is not easy

Qing wanted to help Dayu, however he couldn't help being skeptical about Xian Xi and her motives. 

However, Qing had a bigger issue to deal with and that was arranging the meet up between Dayu and Xian xi. He tried to imagine different scenarios, and in most of them he could imagine Dayu just breaking down in tears and potentially getting back together with her.A situation he is desperately trying to avoid at all cost. 

He thought to himself, why am I stuck in such a difficult position.One hand I have to get Dayu to deal with his past and get closure but at the same time this could mean loosing him to the girl who has caused him a lot of scars. Or if somehow Dayu is able to get closure then there is Daniel who is just waiting for an opportunity to spend time with Dayu and potentially ask him out.

Qing had a very stressed expression,Dayu couldn't help but notice. He tried to ask him couple of times, but Qing wouldn't answer. So he put his index fingers on Qing's eyebrows and tried to straighten them out. Qing was surprised, and ended up smiling.

Don't worry it's nothing serious. However Dayu could sense that it is something serious but he knew that prying any further would just cause Qing to get annoyed so he said, you know I'm always here for you. If there is something I can do to help please let me know. I don't like it when you're stressed. Qing realized that Dayu is worried about him so he assured him that he will ask Dayu for help when the time is right and at that time Dayu has to keep his word.

Dayu didn't think much and agreed to help him regardless. Qing decided to message Xian xi and asked her to meet up with Dayu and apologize. She agreed and Qing was finally able to take the first step towards providing Dayu the closure he needed  to move on. They decided to meet on the weekend before the college reopening as Qing didn't want to cause trouble for Dayu during the busy period.

On the day, Qing couldn't help but be nervous around Dayu. He asked Dayu if he would like to have a drink with him tonight as they won't have much time to relax after tomorrow. Dayu agreed and they both went to a high class bar. Dayu was surprised and didn't want Qing to treat him to such an expensive place but Qing was adamant and Dayu eventually had to give in as usual.

Upon entering the place, they were greeted by a butler and were shown to a table where a girl was already seated. Dayu was a bit confused, he thought Qing didn't say we had company. I wonder who she is, for a minute he thought maybe that's Qing's girlfriend although he didn't like the idea of meeting her he couldn't ask him not too either. As they got closer to the table, Dayu wasn't able to believe his eyes. He had tears in his eyes and he couldn't move forward.

Qing,expected such a scenario hence he made a private reservation at the bar so that Dayu doesn't have to worry about the people around him. He grabbed Dayu's hands and started walking towards Xian xi. Dayu was unable to comprehend the situation, but after sometime he was able to ask the most absurd question which came as shock to Qing and Xian Xi. He asked Qing if he was dating this girl and that's why arranged  meeting in such a private place. Qing couldn't believe his ears but he knew that getting angry wasn't the right thing to do in this situation. Also, because technically, he didn't say anything to Dayu before so it's normal for him to misunderstand this sort of situation.

Just as Qing was going to deny the relationship, Xian xi said otherwise. You're right Dayu, I really like Qing and don't want to do anything to hurt him. When I heard about you from him I wanted to meet you in person and ask for your forgiveness. I don't want Qing to feel guilty about dating me so I told him about our past together and didn't hide anything from him.

Qing couldn't believe what he was hearing, but before he could clear the misunderstanding. Dayu replied, oh! that's right you always liked rich guys didn't you, well don't worry about me I wouldn't dare to come between you guys if you really like him. But Xian xi if you play with his heart like you did with mine, you will regret being born. Dayu stood up and left the table. Before Qing could make sense of the situation, Dayu was already gone and he was left wondering. What the fuck just happened, how did everything turn into such a mess.
