Footstep slowly creaks on every step on the stairs. The bedroom door handle turned slowly. The dark figure motioned into the room, the cover covered all your body. No light, no way.  The strange figure grabbed the bottom of your blanket and slowly it pulls it off. It exposes your skin to the air a slow swift of a wind that gives you goosebump. The icy fingers gripped your arm in the darkness and your hair stood up on end, a shiver raced down your spine and a lump came to your throat and a shrill cry echoed the empty room. the air turned black. You can no longer see but only feel fear. The harrowing screech that came from the thing that stood above you.

You tried to open your eyes but nothing but darkness. The screeching pain carried on and on. A pain in your throat made you wince in pain. Your vision returned and you saw the Thing hovering above you. The demonic rust flaming eyes staring at your soul. The Thing with black coloured cracked skin with its extra long claws that cling to your arm.

You blink rapidly and you wake up and in the corner of the room is the Thing.
