My name is Sage, Sage Shulzberg. I am the head of a support group, a weird one. My job consists of listening to people who have died, and help them understand why they ended up here. Once a year, I select one of the dead who I think best deserves to fix what they had done and send them to Earth.
I stood in the middle of the circle of around ten people who needed help. Some looked depressed while others where confused as they didn't understand where they where sitting. After a few seconds of making eye contact with everyone, I induced myself.
- Hello everyone, my name is Sage. Welcome to my support group. I would like to individually get to every single one of you and hear what you have say. Remember, you are not being forced into anything so, if you don't want to share something that will be okay.- I said with a fake smile
I coulden't really tell if they were paying attention or not, but my job had to be done.
- Oh, sorry. I forgot to mention something. We are all gathered in this room which is in a different dimension to talk about our feelings and overcome the idea of dea..
- Ahhh! - someone interrupted
-Okaaay, we'll work on that. What's your name?
- Tcheska- she said stuttering really softly
- Could you briefly tell us what you felt as I said the word DEATH?
She seemed to ignore me as she slowly crunched up into a ball and coverd her ears and eyes. She looked pretty young, probably about thirteen or so.
-Right, uuum, would anyone like to make a general question before we begin? - I said in a sweetly
After about thirty seconds, I saw in the corner of my eye a grown man, dressed in what appeared to be expensive clothes and a silver watch raise his left hand.
- Yes tell me
- Hi my name is Rod, I would like to know how long we are going to stay in this prison.
His voice was low and rusty and the tone he had used was unpleasant.
- Well Rod, first of all this is not a prison, this is a support group. You will stay here for as long as you need to. Don't worry though, each of you have a 12 x 12 personal room to sleep in. We will try too make your stay here as comfortable as possible. - I replied.
- Anything else? No? Okay, each of you have written under your seats your room number. We'll get started tomorrow morning with a tour at 7: 30 sharp. Have a great night. Oh and, before I forget, If anyone is having trouble falling asleep or feels anxious or anything, you can go up the stairs in the left and turn right and walk straight through the corridor until you reach my room, number 316.
