              ----- = ----- Sage's POV ----- = -----

As I was falling asleep, I heard a knock on my door. At first I ignored it as it was incorporated in my dream until suddenly, I open my eyes and realized where I was. I was still in my office. I must have fallen asleep while thinking about Jorge.  I raised my head and with the most awake voice I could pull of I said:

- Come in!

While I was gaining my consciousness back, I saw the lovely Rod standing in front of my eyes. Without saying any words, he took a seat in front of me.

- I hope I am not interrupting your sleep, but I can't seem to fall asleep, it seems as if their was a problem with my death- he said sophisticated

I didn't really comprehend what he was talking about so I just nodded to everything he said.

- You don't understand do you?

- To tell you the truth, I cannot understand what the inconvenience may be

- You see, as for now, from all the people I heard from, they were unhappy because they believed they were insignificant to the world or they left nothing behind, but that is not exactly my case.

- While I was alive, I managed to achieve what anyone in the world would die for and more. My name is Rod Raizen, you may however now me as the Rod. I have created something in the world, something revolutionary. Something which completely changed people's lives and as it did, it changed mine to as it made richer every day. After twenty years of hard work, I was named the richest man on earth. They said I would need three more lives to be able to spend all of the money I owned.

While saying that, you could see a beaming smile on his face, you could tell he was proud. Suddenly, there was a pause. Once he began speaking again his smile had disappeared and he no longer kelp eye contact with me.

- Then I became ill, instead of crying because I knew I was going to die in a few months, I appreciated everything I had created, changed and lived the best days of my life. I simply couldn't wait for my death

- Why is that? I asked interested

- From the moment you are born, you are told to go to school, to get a job, earn money and do what you want. After your life was completed, your physical body would go to a judgment in which the gods will decide if you go to live with them or you go to hell, where you won't live happily. My whole life I waited for the magic light tunnel that would direct me to god's hand. Being here now, I realize it was all a lie. Non of that happened. One day I just died, and there is nothing I can remember about that until suddenly, I ended up here, in the middle of now where in a different dimension, where there are self absorbed people surrounding while being trapped in a depressing building.

- This is not why I lived my life, this is not what I worked so hard for, so now, can you please explain what the heck is going on because it seems as if the universe can't.

- Sometimes Rod, the people who think have it all, are missing a big part of them. Did you get married?

- Please, let's not talk about my marriage because it has nothing to do at all. Sage, why am I not in heaven right now?

-Unfortunately, I cannot give you a precise answer to that. I will however try my best, but I  will need more time to figure out the best answer possible.

I gave myself a pause to think and take a deep breath.

- My theory is that we are made to believe what you said to get the most juice out of our life. Think of you squeezing an orange. Would you squeeze it if you knew nothing came out? You woulden't because there would be no point in that. However, we know that if we squeeze an orange there will be juice. What they tell us about our death is the juice. You would have not changed the human race if it wasn't for you expecting the juice. Now you have done it, you need to realize the juice is everything you managed to make and change while you lived. You can't expect everything to be perfect Rod, nothing is.

- Are you saying my whole life was a lie?

-No, Rod you died at fifty, you are a wise man. I will give you time to think about that and some time later we can discuss it again alright?

- Sure, see you soon- he said disappointed.
