~Present Day~
“You're so beautiful, Mila.”
She blushed wildly that she almost looked like an erupting tomato. She thanked him, before leaning in to his touch.
He hold her in his arms for a moment then he sang a song. She knew that song and she sang along.
Then they walk down the garden with crystal bearing plants on the side. He held her hand and kiss the top of it almost frequently.
He stopped walking and she did stop as well. She stared at him feeling perplexed. She was looking deeply at him and he does look so handsome.
Forget about the celebrity hunks she have fan-girled off. He was quite a perfection.
“I love you.”
She smiled then slowly leaned in to him. His hands find the square of my back holding her in place.
“I love you too,” she whispered before slowly inching closer her lips against his. Then...
“Young lady!” her mother's voice rang through her ears almost splitting it into two. Camila let out a strangled sound to let her know she was awake and her mother ruined her perfect dream.
Wow timing, mom, she thought.
“Camila? Are you listening to me?” Her mother questioned raising her voice. Camila turn to face her before nodding like a lost puppy. Her eyes half open as she tried not to drift off to sleep.
“And what did I say about your room?” she was testing her. She was freshly showered and in her working uniform, her mother's a doctor in a local hospital in the city. She stood beside her bed crossing her arms with a stern look on her face.
Camila rubbed her eyes and tucks a few strands of her hair behind her ear. But it doesn't help a lot to fix her appearance because her hair is all over the place.
Before Camila can even open her mouth her dad walk in her room in haste. He walk over to her mom and kissed her forehead. He was wearing his suit and looking so professional. He was working a lawyer for twenty years now, so their family is quite wealthy, if you ask.
“Goodbye, honey,” he said then turn to Camila who was like melting at the sight of two persons who loved each other through the years and have gone through so much together.
“Bye, sleepy ass,” he kissed the top of her head and bring his hands to Camila's messy hair and ruffles it even more. She frowned at her dad as he chuckled. He kissed her mom once again before walking out of the room. He mouthed, ‘Good luck, Mila!’ before leaving.
“I see that.”
Camila didn't say a word so her mother speaks again, “what am I saying about your room, young lady?”
“Clean it.” Camila tried so hard to make it sound like a statement than a question.
“Nice try, young lady. I didn't say anything about your room,” her mom retorted glaring down at her in such motherly manner.
Her mom can be a hungry gorilla then mutate into a beautiful and sweetest mom in the world from time to time, it depends on the situation. But although that thing –being a hungry gorilla– Camila loves her mother than how she can manage to express it.
Camila let out a groan before willing herself to sit up. She ran her fingers through her hair before smiling politely at her mother. “ Can you repeat it from the top, mom?”
