"Ready?" Jack calmly asked as he started the car.
"Yeah" Stefanie answered. "Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise" he replied as the pair pulled out of the drive way and turned onto the road.
"Aww come on" the girl pouted. He replied with a simple Nope, and a smile.
They stopped to pick up some food. Eventually Jack stopped the car when they had reached a park,Stefanie didn't question it. They both got out the car and Jack got out two skateboards. One was his the other was Daniels. "Alright just follow me" He told her.
"Okay?" She answered as more of a question then an answer. He put the skateboards down and started down the sidewalk with the food still in hand. Soon enough they were cruising through the park. When  Jack finally began to slow down they were in an empty Soccer field,like when they where younger.
"Awe Jack" she smiled as all the memories began to flood her mind.

-flash back-
"Why Jack?!" The 16 year old girl cried into his chest in the middle of a soccer field as nothing but pain filled her acing body.
"It's okay curls." Was all he knew to say.
"What about soccer?" She removed her tear stained face  from his chest as she looked down at her bandaged leg.
"I know Stefanie,you're strong and you've got this- you'll get better in Time for try outs, I promise." He said as he put his finger on her chin to guide her eyes into his.
"But what if I don't?"
"Then I won't play guitar for a month." He said without hesitation.
"What??!?"
"I know Stef. It's just an injury, nothing new"
"What if I don't get better?"
"You will."
"Promise?" She asked causing him to stick  out his pinky, and wrap his pinky around hers.
"Promise."
-End of Flashback-

Jacks POV
She smiled, that beautiful smile that could light up the world. I grabbed her hand and led her to the center of the field. Each time I came here the field is always empty. We sat and began to eat and talk.
"So, how do you like LA?" She said putting a fry in her mouth.
"It's great." I smiled. She looked down and smiled.
"You okay?"
"Yeah it's just... we miss you back at home"
"We?"
"Isla,Ava, Syd, Kristen,m-"
"Alright right, I get it" I said with a light laugh.
"...me." She looked up. I smiled at her. "You're smile is one of the best things in the world." She said looking into my eyes.
"Awwe don't make me blush" I said making her laugh.
We continued eating and enjoying being together again. Once we where done she cleaned up and laid down facing the sky. I just sat up and admired her.
"You know every time I take the time to actually take in what is around me I see how the nature around me is so beautiful it makes my problems look so small and unimportant." She said ad her eyes bounced from cloud to cloud.
"How can you be so perfect all the time?"
Her eyes broke from the sky and met mine.
"I don't know i guess after so many years of being around you it kind of rubbed off on me." She winked, eventually she sat back up and put her head on my shoulder.
"I missed you so much" I said placing a kiss on your head.
"I missed you more" she picked up her head and looked into my eyes. Rain began to fall. My eyes dropped down to her lips and back up to her eyes. Hers did the same. We began to lean in our lips nearly touching. When thunder erupted from the sky making her jump. Why!?!?
"Im so sorry i shouldn't have- I just got caught up in The moment " i began rambling.
"It's okay, we should probably get home" she  said and I smiled at her,although i was smiling I was devastated. This was my chance. My chance to make her mine. She got up and began skating back to the car. I turned around and pointed my middle finger up at the sky. Fuck you rain.
