Littles:

A Little usually is identified by 13-15 when they are going through puberty as they don't develop body hair past the little peach fuzz on their skin. They also don't develop much genital wise either, staying close to a small child physically except height.

Female Littles will not have their menstruation cycle except with the assistance of medical interventions. They do not develop breasts either.

Male Littles testicles do not drop and their voices will remain at a childish pitch. They have no body hair either.

They are obviously childish and do not do well with a lot of responsibility. A Little will often choose toys and coloring over work.

Littles have a range of personalities, each one is different. There are shy Littles who cry at being around strangers to ones who coast along just fine to ones who are outgoing and very friendly. Some are practically newborns and some are in their pre-teens.

Caregivers:

A caregiver is identifiable by puberty also. They develop faster than their peers and are generally more personable. They can be male or female and they all are stronger than the average person. (Some circumstances may affect caregivers development)

The caregivers share an even temperament when it comes to Littles most of the time. They feel the need to protect and take care of their Little and are devoted enough to die for them. They are not devoted enough to die for someone else's Little however because that would cause them to leave their own.

How They Find Each Other:

A caregiver mark will be present faintly up until they meet their Little at which point it will begin to darken up as they bond. A Little's Mark appears when they meet their caregiver and also darkens as they bond.

Caregivers may have dreams of their Little and use them to help locate the Little. They may also be drawn to the place their Little resides.

Littles may also dream of their Caregiver but more often than not it is up to the Caregiver to locate their Little.

Protections:

There are laws in place for the protection of the Littles. If a caregiver is abusive or neglectful, they will be executed after the bond between the two is chemically broken. The Little usually develops a bond with a new Caregiver, usually one that was formerly Blank.

Littles do not often outlive their caregivers if they are still bonded when the caregiver dies, they spiral down and essentially shut down completely. In the case of genetically inhanced Super-Soldiers, their Little will live just as long as they do and will be more resilient to more serious illnesses.
