Chapter 11 Ais vs Bell

after the teams were done with their meeting, it was decided that everyone will stay in camp's outside next to the stadium with monster repellent's placed all around, Wiene and Rubieskale were uncomfortable, but pulled it together to be in the tournament.
Rubieskale:" the bad part is that since we're strong, it affects us the most"
Bell:" sorry, just put up with it for now"
Wiene:" I feel sick"
Enia then had an announcement and everyone paid attention to this since they were eager to start and finish this already.
Enia:" ...now we will have the event for the last month...but we must enforce the one place rule again"
the team's then had a moment of panic and then the competitors were scared for this much more then they were before.
Enia:" now we have a different wheel and this is even worse than the last one"
the wheel had only the places that could get selected to eliminate and this made everyone scared, a few had to sit down even. the wheel was spun and as it landed, it was 3rd place that was the unlucky number. as team's selected member's, as Gaianda was going to step up, Haruhime then tugged her and asked.
Haruhime:" can I...redeam myself"
Bell:" Haruhime"
Haruhime:" I want to...prove I'm strong"
Lily:"...well... I guess it doesn't matter either way, but are you prepared for this"
as she went in, people were saying how Haruhime would end up 3rd and fail like last time and she was taking it all in, then.
Mero:" ALRIGHT ALL OF YOU, IF I HEAR ANOTHER WORD OF YOU DOUGHT OF HARUHIME, WELL SEE ARMLESS PEOPLE WALKING OUT HERE"
Zerif:" you can do this Haruhime, you can win"
she got a lot of confidence and as she went in, the challenge was actually a balance off with intense weights on their arms as they tried to be the last one's their. the strategy for the Freya and Hermes familia were to get out instantly and get safe in  the last places, and after a few minutes, it was down to the final 3 up their, and these people held on for their lives, and after about half an hour, the Athena familia finally gave in, and got 3rd, but since they were already last place, it didn't matter to them, and then it was Haruhime and Tione left, and as Haruhime was going to fall from a sneeze and slight balance loss, she caught herself, but in a even more difficult position and as she tried to hold on, Tione though she had won, however, Haruhime's tail was in her face and Tione was doing her best to ignore it, but it hardly did anything.
Bete:" that's cheating isn't it"
Finn:" well...technically no, since she's in that position, their's little place her tail can go, so I guess Tione has to put the-"
then when Tione got some heir up her nose, she reacted heavily and dropped the weight's too pat down her nose from discomfort as she realized what she had done.
Rivaria:" well...we at least got 2nd place"
Ais:" then it's in the matches we will gain more point's"
then the matches were made and it was Bell vs Ais, this would actually be the first time Bell officially fights Ais in the tournament, everyone was giddy since both are very promising and Loki especially wanted to see this.
Loki:" well shrimp, our favorite children are about to fight, any bet's you want to make that I will get"
Hestia:" no...Capaneus said if I gamble with Bell... he rips my twin tails off while splitting my skull"
Loki:" I am so sorry I even brought that up, I didn't know Hestia, I didn't know"
Enia: now this is a free for all match...both have their default weapon's, so we won't have any real restriction's, now then do your best you two"
Ais:" I wanted to fight for a long time against you Bell... I want to see just how strong you are now"
Bell:" then I will give you everything I got"
Ais:" even using your black flames"
Bell then stopped talking and knew she wanted him to use his Black flame's, but Bell didn't want to use them, especially since he let his anger get the best of him with Allen and he had scales growing from his body, Bell had to meet with Satoshi after that to discuss how bad it was.
Satoshi:" I think I'd be best if you didn't use your flames for a while Bell, it's been stable at this point, but... look, I'm not defending Allen for what he said, but you can't lose yourself like that, just look"
Satoshi showed Bell the scale's, he had them in places where Wiene had them on her body.
Bell:" I just-"
Satoshi then hugged Bell with tear's in her eye's and told Bell she was scared for Bell when that happened, she went through the same thing, but she grew a tail and nearly grew wing's in anger and the need for blood, she got back to her senses when she calmed down, but she was so close to becoming a dragon, she was scared that the same fate will happen to someone she cared about.
Satoshi:" I nearly lost myself like you did...but I can't stand the thought of losing a friend of mine, especially you Bell, don't...don't"
Satoshi then looked at Bell with tear's in her eye's, she was a tomboy who seemed like a dude so her crying was a rare thing for Bell to see, then Bell said he would be more careful from now on and then they left. in the match, Bell stated he will fight Ais and win, but without his black flames.
Bell:" I'm afraid not, I can't just use my Black flame's whenever I fight someone, so I will fight you without using my black fire"
Bete:"that's dumb, that's the only way he'd win against Ais, what's he thinking"
Rivaria:" he's using his own strength...plus, I don't think he recovered from the scales he grew in anger yet look"
they look and it seems Bell had scales on his face, turning into a dragon was actually possible apparently, the members knew if he used them now, it would worsen.
Bete:" what can he do without his fire"
Tiona:" I remember he bet you effortlessly in a match Bete, so if he's weak, then your nothing"
Bete then went on a rage as the match began. Ais used her magic as the first sight and charged at Bell, Bell was bearly able to block but was sent back a few meters, Ais then continues to press on, then Bell says.
Bell:" PHENSUNE(the confidence of Pheonix and Kitsune)"
then blue fire surrounds Bell that's just like Ais's Tempest down to the core, but with fire instead.
Ais:" you had this the entire time"
Bell:" I never said I wouldn't use magic, did I"
Rivaria:" he had a whole new set of magic this entire time"
Tione:" he's been holding back his power then"
Finn's thought's:" so Bell cranel, you have far more potential and trick's up your sleeve than we originally thought...what other secrete's do you have that you hid from us... now I can't stop but wonder"
as the 2 fought, Ais eventually used up a lot of magic and had to cancel her Tempest, then Bell canceled his Phensune to make thing's fair, as the fight went on, Bell had seemed to have the advantage and then Bell had his body hurt, making his strikes less effective, then when he was pushed back and on his knee's something happened.
Tiona:" what happened, Bell was doing so well up til now"
Bete:" maybe he pushed his limit for too long"
Finn:"...no look"
then smoke came from Bell's scales and everyone didn't know what was happening, they asked Satoshi about it but.
Satoshi:" I'm sorry, I have no idea what this is"
Lily:" you think that the suppressed version has the same body effect as his black fire"
Satoshi:" no, it's made so we can use our element's without the worry of turning into a dragon...maybe Bell has a new case I don't know about, the Bahamut curse is unpredictable"
then a small field of black flames surrounded Bell and he looked like he was struggling with pain, then after Bell got to his feet and screamed loud, he was somehow able to stop the mysterious outcome and get back to normal.
Ais:"...can you fight"
Bell:" I'm not going anywhere"
Enia:"... I guess we continue on with the match"
Finn:" while it was smart of Ais not to attack Bell like that... I still can't help but worry about it"
Rivaria:" Bell Cranel... whatever that was, I hope it's soled soon"
Bell was then in the defensive, but then out of nowhere, the flame's disappear and his scales are gone, this would have many questions asked on what just happened, and no answer to satisfy either.
