Why won't anyone buy my burgers?
I'm being impatient again. Yes, I get impatient often. Class just ended and I just got here at the food truck at the park where I work at. The reason I'm working? It's because I want to--
"Umm...Miss--"
"Kamjagiya (I got a shock)!"
The guy in front of me also got shocked at my sudden scream. He looks familiar. Maybe he just passed by here one time.
"Sorry, what was that?" I blinked a few times to retrieve my soul that flew away.
"One burger please." He smiled at me as if nothing awkward happened.
While I was cooking the patty, I noticed the guy was staring longingly at it. Gosh! He must be really hungry.
After cooking the patty, I took out some buns and one of those 'plastic thingies' where you put the burger in. I myself can't believe that a worker like me doesn't know what it's called.
"Here you go, sir." He gave me a big amount of Korean won.
"Sir, do you have any lesser--"
"Keep the change." Again, with that smile!
I just bowed politely and watched him walk towards a table with a bunch of other familiar guys. Oh! And there's Oppa!
So he's Woojin Oppa's friend?
I didn't have any more customers after that handsome guy. And I got my tantrum again. Pfft...
I was about to close the truck when my phone beeped.
Oppa:
I'm at the park. Let's go home together, Dongsaeng. ^_^
I smiled at my brother's sweetness. Sometimes, people would ask us if we're a couple when they see us together.
Jihye:
Ne~ I'm just near you, but you didn't notice me?
Oppa:
Oh, yeah...mian~
"Miss?" I heard a cold voice that made me stumble on the floor, even the plastic chair I was sitting on fell down.
"Sorry, it's me again." Again? Who you? Oh! That handsome guy!
I peeked, only showing my eyes.
"You!" I did not know why I suddenly got excited.
"Me?" He pointed to himself.
"Yeah." What the freak am I saying?!
"Uhh...what?"
Think of an excuse, pabo (idiot).
"I'm asking for your order."
"Ahh, okay. Sorry, I'm a bit slow at times." He scratched the back of his head and giggled. Okay, I give up...he's cute.
And so I gave him his order and didn't let him pay. The money he paid earlier was more than enough.
He refused but still agreed in the end.
He's the only customer I had today. But surprisingly, I was happy and contented.
