All of us haven't left Mavis' friend, Zera's, house in about a week. She and some other girls have been treating everyone's wounds and they all seem to be healing rather quickly. Natsu is almost fully healed, however it's still advised that he doesn't move very much. Erza finally woke up and is on very strict bed rest as well. Gray's doing a lot better too, he has to walk with crutches though.

Natsu had a million complaints about his bedrest, because according to him he only had a few scratches. However, he'd been stabbed in his side when he first came into the house. Zera said he should be moving around in about a week now, and that considering the situation is Natsu was in, it's no surprise he didn't notice his wound. She just left his room a little bit ago, so now it's just me and him. I smile down at him and stroke his hair gently, admiring how peaceful he looks.

"I'm sorry," he whispers.

"For what?"

"I'm a danger to you, Lucy. I got you into this entire mess. I don't care that I bought you, I want you to leave. Live a free life. For once," he's struggling to get his words out, he's in pain and holding back tears. I smile and lean down to kiss him.

"You're not getting rid of me so easy, Mr. Dragneel," I whisper in his ear. "If I wanted to leave I would have. I want to be with you," I lean back up and run my fingers across his cheek. "I love you," he looks at me, shocked for a moment.

"Damn it, women. I love you too," I lean down and kiss him again, this time a little rougher. I pace myself, however and back away, walking to the door.

"Get your rest, baby," I giggle.

"The hell are you doin'? We were just getting started!" He protests.

"What are we gonna do when you're in this state, hm? Be patient. I'm going to check on your brother," Natsu pouts and I blow him a kiss before shutting the door. I head towards the kitchen to grab a drink and luckily Mavis is there.

"Hey, Mavis," She smiles and hands me a bottle of water. "I wanted to thank you again for all of this,"

She scoffs and smiles again. "It warms my heart to see you girls make all these rough boys melt into your hands. It may have taken some convincing but there's no way I would've let Zeref deny his brother," Mavis sits down the the table and crosses her legs. "And if you're talking about this house and the medical care, Zera and I are skin tight. She loves helping people," I nod and smile.

"Well, thank you very much. I was actually wondering if it was okay if I went to Zeref's room and properly thanked him, but if you'd rather me not I understand,"

"Of course I don't mind. His room is right by Erza's," I thank her and drink the rest of my water and head towards his room. I quietly open the door and peak in.

"Am I bothering you, Sir?" I mumble nervously.

"No, you can come in," Zeref's voice his deep and scary, making me tense up. I walk in to the end of his bed. I bow my head and take a deep breath.

"Thank you, Zeref. For helping Natsu save my friends and I," I hear Zeref sit up. "I know the two of you weren't on the best of terms,"

"Natsu is my brother, and seeing him finally find a girl that makes him happy made it hard to deny him," He says. "Mavis saved my life, no doubt. And I feel that you've saved Natsu's," I lean up and bring my hands to my face, wiping my tears.

"T-thank you, sir! You and Mrs. Mavis have my upmost respect!" Zeref chuckles and smiles. I hear the door open and Mavis comes in holding a tray. Whatever is on it, smells amazing. She passes me and I see some kind of breakfast bowl.

"If you don't mind me asking, Mavis, what is that?" She sets the tray down on Zeref's lap and turns to me.

"It's a hash brown bowl. I made it up specially for Zeref. He loves potatoes," I look over to him and he wasted no time at all. His mouth was stuffed. I laugh and start heading out of the room.

"Thank you both again. I'm going to see Erza," they nod and turn away and I leave. I'm really glad Erza turned up alright, we were all super worried. I open the door and step in, only to see Jellal leaned over Erza, kissing her. They're both so into it that they didn't even notice me come in.

I clear my throat. "Am I interrupting something?" Jellal flies up and Erza is bright red. I can't help but laugh. "Doing what you can while she's locked in bed, aren't you?" I snicker.

"It-We weren't...!" Erza stutters.

"Don't even try explaining. Just tell me how you're feeling,"

Erza coughs and seems to cool down. "I'm feeling better. Zera said I should be able to walk by next week," Jellal smiles down at Erza and looks back at me.

"Thank you for looking out for her, Miss Lucy," I grab Erza's hand and squeeze it.

"She's my family. I'll always be here for her," I smile at Jellal. "Thank you for making her happy," Erza blushes and I turn away. "I'll leave you to it!" Right before I close to door I wink.

"Go easy on her!"
