You were surprised when you received a call from iQiyi about being casted as one of the mentors for their new show, Idol Producer.

You were asked if you could be a dance instructor for the show and you agreed. When the show started, there was a particular trainee that caught your eye..and everyone else's to be exact.

When he had performes his self-composed song, I wanna get love, you swore his eyes would meet with yours more than it did with your fellow dance mentor, Jieqiong.

"My baby girl~" he sang and danced while his eyes were directed at you.

"He looks interested in you." Jieqiong mumbled to you, hoping Yixing wouldn't hear.

As he got an A, you had looked forward to seeing his growth in the show. You had helped them in dancing despite him not really needing it.

Then it came down to the collaboration stage. You had chosen a very mature dance which was Troublemaker's Now. Those who chose your song all had that sense of sexy maturity in them. Trainees like Xiengjie, Justin, Ziyi and Xukun were there.

"It's mentor (your name)!" They exclaimed as soon as you entered the room. Everyone was surrounding you except for Xukun who had only been watching you from afar.

"Now we need a second center. Someone who can exhibit sexiness but also mystery." You told them and their eyes all went towards Xukun.

"Kunkun-ge is perfect for that." Justin commented as the others nodded along with him.

You looked at him and he bowed towards you. He smiled softly then spoke. "If you guys would give me the opportunity, then I will gladly take it."

The dance was not complex but it was a show-stopper. There were movements where you would have to dance with the other boys but Xukun would have to steal you away from them.

There had been times where the others would stop dancing as they fall into awe in watching the chemistry between you and Xukun. You would scold them, of course. You did not want them to waste their time when they can practice.

But half of your head is spinning around the boy you were dancing with. How he spun you to how he would graze the tips of his fingers on your waist. It was almost alluring.

"They really look good together." Xingjie commented from the crowd of boys.

"If this was a chemistry class, they'd definitely get ranked A." Justin nodded to himself.

"Mentor is glaring at us." Ziyi coughed which caused the other boys to start dancing.

As you finished the practice, you noticed how the others left quickly to get their dinners while Xukun stayed behind to wait for you.

"Oh, kunkun. Not getting your meal yet?" A nickname which everyone called him by was how you called him as well.

"Actually, I was wondering if we can pass by our routine one more time." He asked which you smiled to.

You liked the passion he had for his debut. He had always stood out from the rest because of what drove him to become a better version of himself everyday.

As you gave him affirmation, he turned on the music and the the jazzy yet poppy intro of now started playing.

It was the same routine but it felt different. Was it because it waa just the two of you alone? His eyes bore into your soul to exaggerate.

Your movements were so smooth yet so swift. Your eyes never left his and vice versa. As he dipped you down with his arms supporting your back, you noticed how his pupils were shaking as they stared at you.

His eyes wanted to say something that his mouth couldn't bring himself to. "Xukun?" You called him by his name which made him properly stand while lifting you up as well.

The proximity was now close, which surprised both of you. It was not a mentor to trainee this time...but just a woman to a man..in an awkward position.

"(Your name)." Xukun spoke, without letting you go.

"Y-yeah?"

"Would you..want to meet up with me after the show? Just...as us? Not as idols..." He tried to word carefully.

"Like a..." You were just about to talk when he had cut your talk midway.

"Like a date."

Should I continue the mentor theme to all the nine percent boys or would you guys want to see something else?
