Treat You Better (Oscar x Oona x Otis)

Narrators POV

Oona was happily working in her lab as usual but what wasn't usual was that she was staring at Otis as she was working. She only did this twice a day, sometimes three time. She had started to crush on Otis ever since he had called her beautiful at the Odd Squad dance and even asked her out. Yup, he really stole her heart alright, just to crush it every single time he's with Olympia. Although Oona and Olympia were really close friends, Oona knew that Otis and Olympia were closer.  Oona sighed as she saw Otis actually smile a little bit for once but she knew that it wasn't because of her, it was because of Olympia. As Oona was busy sighing over Otis, Oscar was busy sighing over her.  He knew that Oona was the right person to hire to he his assistant and he liked her ever since.

Oscar couldn't help but go over to Oona and talk to her. He couldn't stand seeing her look upset.  "Hey Oona." He said giving her a warm smile. 

Oona looked at Oscar and smiling weakly at him. "Hey Oscar.."

"Are you okay?" Oscar asked even though he knew the answer. 

Oona slightly shook her head. 

"Is it because of Otis, again?" Oscar asked.

Oona nodded. "I don't know why though, he said he loves me and I love him." 

Oscar sighed hearing the words "and I love him".  "Oona,  you know that I would never lie to you, right?" 

Oona nodded. "Yeah, I know that. Your my beat friend, Oscar." 

"So as your friend, I'm telling you, that you shouldn't be with Otis anymore." Oscar said. 

Oona's face changed. "Oscar, I love him and I want to be with him. He's the only one I want." 

Oscar knew thaz, that wasn't she really felt about Otis or maybe it's how he wanted her to feel about him. 

"If you say so, Oona." Oscar said sighing a little. 

"I do say so, should I be saying something different?" Oona asked  she was confused by why Oscar was saying all this. He also supported her relationship with Otis, he always did. Months ago, she may have have feelings for Oscar but she knew or at least she thought she knew that Oscar liked Ms.O. it was obvious that he did, the way that they complimented each other news they don't even try, the way that Ms.O only acted nice to Oscar.  

"I don't know, Oona. I'm just saying that you could do better. Your just wasting your time with him. Can't you see that he doesn't actually love you." Oscar said not realizing that he was sorta yelling at her. 

Oona couldn't help but get mad at Oscar. "Yes he does love me! And I'm not wasting me time. You said I could do better, who else should I be with Oscar? You tell me." 

"Me." Oscar thought. "You should be with me, I'm the right one for you, I'll treat you better, better then he can." 

"Tell me, Oscar. Who should I be with rather then Otis?" Oona asked. 

"Forget it," Oscar said walking away. "Don't come running to me when he breaks your heart." 

Oona stood there speechless she didn't understand why Oscar was acting like this but she was very mad at him, she was mostly mad because she knew what he said was ture and she just didn't want to face the facts. She knew that Otis didn't really treat her like she was his girlfriend and soek.times he was actually rude to her. Not wanted to show it Oona huffed and went back to doing work while Oscar went somewhere else. 

Otis walked up to Oona and looked at her seriously.  "Hey Oona, can I talk to you in the hallway?" 

Oona smiled at him and nodded. "Yeah sure, Otis." She followed him to the hallway wondering what he wanted to talk about. 

"Oona, your pretty cute and your also really kind and you were also a good girlfriend but I just don't feel those same feelings for you look I did all those months ago." Otis said, H's hand behind his back, as usual. 

"What are you saying, Otis?' Oona asked even though she understood what was happening. 

"I'm breaking up with you, sorry, I have feelings for someone else." Otis said. He felt a little bad for doing this to Oona, but he really liked Olympia and knew that it would be bad to still be with Oona and like someone else. 

"It's Olympia, right?" Oona asked upset, she could feel the tears well up in her eyes. "It was always her. You never actually liked me." Oona walked past Otis hitting his shoulder with he's as she walked past him. She then stated to run outside, she wanted to run to Oscar, she wanted db is comfort, his kind words but she couldn't. He was right all along, he was right about Otis not being a good boyfriend, now ex-boyfriend. 

Otis sighed as Oona waked past him. He felt really guilty for hurting her he hoped that soon she'll get over it.  He walked back to his desk not saying anything. 

Oscar came back to the lab to apologize to Oona for the way he acted but when he went there he didn't find her. He had this horrible feeling in his stomach and he really hoped that he wasn't right about Otis breaking Oona's heart. He walked up to Otis. 

"Otis," Oscar said. "Where's Oona?" 

Otis looked at Oscar. "I don't know, last time I saw her she ran away." 

"Why?" Oscar asked now really hoping he wasn't right. 

"Because I broke up with her." Otis said feeling guilty again. 

"You did what? She really liked you Otis. You didn't deserve her at all." Oscar said before he stormed out of Odd Squad. He had to look for Oona.  He ran in the direction he thought Oona ran. He went to her favorite spot and found her crying on a bench.  He sat down next to her and gently said.  "Oona, it's going to be okay." 

Oona sniffed, she looked at Oscar and although she really wanted to cry in his arms she couldn't help but snap. "What are you doing here? Came to tell me that your right, well guess what? You were right, there, now you can go." 

Oscar gently shool his head. "But I don't want to be.  Oona,  I'm sorry that this happened, I knew how much you loved him " 

"But that's the thing Oscar, I loved him but he didn't love me back." Oona said her tears rolling down her cheek. 

Oscar pulled Oona into a hug. "He doesn't deserve your tears, he doesn't deserve you at all." 

"Who does deserve me then?" Oona asked. 

"I do," Oscar said wiping her tears with his hand. "Oona, I've liked you from the very beginning,  I always have and always will. The reason why I acted like how I acted earlier was because I was really mad at how upset you were at Otis. Heck,  I was mad at Otis altogether. He didn't realize that he had the most beautiful girlfriend in the world as well as smart and kind." 

Oona smiled weakly at Oscar. "Boys are stupid, I should just stop wasting my time with them." 

"But you wouldn't be wasting your time with me," Oscar said smiling at her. "Cause I know I can treat you better, better then he can." 

Oona smiled at Oscar. She leaned in and gently placed her lips on Oscar's. 

She knew that if she was with Oscar, she would be happy. She knew that he wouldn't be like any other boy or like Otis. He would love her more then she did him. She knew that he would and In fact, treat her better.

Cause I know I can treat you better, better then he can! Hey! I just had to do that, sorry! :).
