*take note that silver eyed Anna and brown eyed Anna are completely different people with completely different stories... but they will correlate soon*
————————————————————————
Anna's POV

once upon a time there lived a fair badass assassin. she had jet black hair that was medium length and straight, her eyes were piercing silver and when shined upon, myth has it that anyone who stares while theyre shining are to be frozen in time...

"here's an assignment, anna."

my boss hands me a small manila folder. i take it, opening the folder to reveal a woman all too familiar. her hair was brown medium length, brown coffee eyes, and per usual—clean eyebrows. my heart clenched in sadness.

*FLASHBACK*

she nods her head furiously, tears running down her face. i wipe my own away, taking the ring i had bought out the box and placing it on her ring finger. i pulled her too me as people cheered and hoorayed, kissing her lips to seal forever.

*FLACKBACK OVER*

i shake my head from the last time i saw her, what does my boss want me to do to her?

"i need you to kidnap this woman, anna. she's the daughter of an investor of mine, and he hasn't paid his monthly dues for two months."

i bit my tongue hard, whenever i kidnap someone from my past assignments i always end up killing them and the person they're linked too. he continues,

"if he fails to speak up to our terms, you kill her. got it?"

i nod my head, taking the folder and walking away. my eyes burned for some reason, two years ago... gathering my gear, i open up the folder again to see her face. she doesn't look like she's aged a bit. my heart strings tug for the first time in years. i try shaking it off, sharpening my katanas and placing them in my bag. as i bring my bag to my black tinted rolls royce, i get inside the drivers seat, throwing the weapons in my passengers seat. i drive to her address that's been the same since i last left her. for some reason, why hasn't she moved?

i pull up to her house, her white mercedes parked in the usual spot. sliding on my black gloves, i grab my full thiopental syringe and walk up to her doorstep.

my heartbeat speeds up by one beat,
more than it needs too. i try shaking it off again, seeing her shadow pass by from the window. the door opens to reveal the only woman i ever gave my heart too on a silver platfer.

her eyes widened, and for a split second i had the urge to kiss her. but i reminded myself, no.

i kick her hard her body flying to her kitchen, she hits her head hard on the ground. i walk inside the house, none of the neighbors in sight. she moans out in pain, tears seeping out and down her cheeks. i grab her by the neck, and lift her from the ground. her body light as a feather, she lost weight.

i take out my syringe quickly, skillfully moving her neck gently to the side. inserting it in, her eyes begin to droop. for some reason, deep down in my cold heart, i... want to take her home with me? no, i don't. who cares if she dies, it doesn't matter. throwing her body over my shoulder, i begin to walk out. until i was greeted by... oreo? oreo had looked older, her black faded and her moving slower than usual. she had a collar now, and of course it was silver. i felt that same pain in my chest again. sighing, i bend down to pet oreo gently, she immediately purrs recognizing my scent. scratching behind her ears, she licks my finger lovingly, a bittersweet feeling sprouts in me. standing up to leave, i close her house door behind me, laying her down in the backseat of my car.
