Chapter 15

I sat up in a jump.
I placed my hand in my head.

Sugar rush

I looked around and seen that I fell asleep in Ruby room.

Where is she?

I sat up from the bed and walked to Mason room.

I  got in the shower and changed into a flowery dress with short ruffles on the arm sleeve.

I walked downstairs and seen Alice, Ruby, Janette, Alex in the kitchen.

"Good morning" Ruby says with a smile. 

"Good morning" I responded back to her.

"By any chance have anyone told you that you sleep horrible?" Ruby asked. I chuckled nervously "Y-yeah"

Walter, Carter and Mason walk in the kitchen.

"I have a surprise for you" Mason whispers in my ear. 

I smile as I look up at him. "Is it another granola bar?" I asked him.

"No, better" he says with a smile. He takes my hand and takes me outside.

We ended up walking into the woods.

"Close your eyes, we're getting near" He says.
"Alright" I covered my eyes with my hands.
"No peaking"
"I'm not" I smile

He takes my hand and walks farther more. 

"Okay now, you can open" he says

I place my hands down and chuckled.

On the ground was a cute picnic set with flowers all around and a red plaid blanket.

"When did you have time to do this?" I asked him.

"This morning" He says with a smile.

"Come" He extend his hand and sat me down beside him.

"You aren't gonna say that the basket is full of meat cause I'm sorry, I'm getting tired of eating meat" I tell him with a smile.

"It's just, turkey sandwiches, fruits, apple pie, water and sausages but that's for me" he smiled.

We began to eat, talk and laugh together. 

It was really nice. I enjoyed it and I enjoyed being there with him. Seeing him smile meant the world to me, it made me feel more in love with him.

"I'm serious" I told him while laughing.

"I believe you," He says with a laugh

Mason smile suddenly drops and turns serious. He stares toward the woods.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

He stood up "Stay here" he says.

I nodded. I watch him as he goes deeper and deeper into the woods until I couldn't see him anymore.

I was now alone. I looked around me.

A sudden loud noise came from the woods, sounded like someone walking on sticks of woods, breaking them.

I stood up "Mason?" I called out.

However no one came out.

Two wolves suddenly jump out on me. They began to growl at me.

My heart began to race in fear.

As the wolves walked closer to me, I made a run for it.

Dumb decision. We all know a human can't outrun wolves especially two of them.

I began running.

I looked back to see them very close behind me.

The fast idea I thought of in that moment was

Climb the damn tree.

I went to the closest tree and jumped on it.

For some reason in my mind, I thought that was a good idea, don't know why but it was

Again dumb decision.

"MASON!" I yelled.

While I climbed the tree one of the wolves jumps and bites my leg bringing me down.

The other wolf jumps and jumps and bites me on the side of my stomach, dropping me from the tree.

As the wolves growl at me. 

Mason comes and attacks them.

I wince in pain as I looked down and seen that I was full of blood.

Oh my gosh! Am I bleeding?!

I struggled to get up

 I'm in so much pain.

I start to feel dizzy. My eyesight turns blurry than I suddenly blackout.

I opened my eyes again to see Mason carrying me.

"Mason" I said lifeless.

"You're gonna be okay, Mila. I promise" He says with a mad but sad tone in his voice.

I struggled to breathe.

I then feel Mason place me on the table.

I flutter my eyes as my eyesight is still blurry.

Mason than rips open my dress as he tries to stop the bleeding.

"What happened?" I hear ruby say.

"She was attacked" Mason says sadly.

"She was bit?" Carter asked.

"Yes" He says.

The room then goes silent.

I start to feel the room spin.
My eyesight was still kinda blurry.

"Mason, If she was bit, we can't save her" I hear Carter says in a sad tone.

"You know if a human gets bit by wolves like us, they have no chance of surviving" Alex says sadly.

"NO SHE'LL BE FINE! JUST FUCKING SAVE HER!" Mason yells angrily. 

"Mason..." Ruby trailed off.

Mason starts to cry as he grips my hand.

"I'll be okay" I struggled to tell him.

"Everything will be okay" I gave him a faint smile.

"But It's better to forget me than to remember me and cry" I added with a lifeless voice.

"But you won't die!" He yells at me.
"You'll be fine and we'll see each other in the morning. I said I'm not gonna lose you AND IM NOT FUCKING LOSING YOU" He says angrily as he cries. 

Ruby and Carter takes out a first aid and began doing everything they can to save me.

I smiled at him as I feel myself going away. I close my eyes as I go into straight darkness.
