Chapter 2

LJ POV

I walked in with the girl in my arms. Slendy appeared right in front of me just as I shut the door. "Oh, hey Slendy!" "LJ, where have you been? You've been gone for ages." "I was watching this girl and hit her over the head. I think she'll make a good proxy." Um, okay then, take her to the infirmary, her head is bleeding a little bit." Said Slender. I looked down and indeed, I saw a small cut on her forehead. I took her to the infirmary and placed a band-aid on the cut, then sat down on the end of the bed and fell asleep.

Jade POV

I woke up, and my head hurt really bad. I touched my forehead gingerly and was surprised to find a band-aid there. I felt movement at the bottom of the bed and looked to my feet. I saw the monochrome clown thing asleep at the end of the bed. My first thought was to jump up and leave, but then I realized that his clawed fingers were just barely touching mine. I tried to move my hand, by he whimpered softly in his sleep and frowned, so I put my hand back where it was. He relaxed, but just then the door opened and a man with no face and a business suit on walked in. "Hello child. How are you- oh, Laughing Jack. Just a moment, please." He said. "Okay." A tentacle slid out from behind his back, along with four others. They wrapped around 'Laughing Jack' and picked him up, then moved him to another bed. The one right next to mine. "There. Now, what's your name, child?" "Jade." I replied. "Do you have a last name, Jade?" "No, I gave that up when I ran away from home." I said, not wanting to reveal more, but it looked like it was t over yet. I explained about my abusive parents, the bullies at my school, and how I eventually just couldn't take it anymore. And how I packed my things, stole some money from my parents, and ran away when I was thirteen. I'm seventeen now. "And you must be Slenderman, right?" I asked. "Why yes. And I seem to have noticed that you don't seem to be afraid of me. May I ask why?" "I've read enough creepypasta stories to know you're probably nice enough. Speaking of, are there other proxies here?" I asked, sitting up. "Yes there are. Would you like to meet them?"
