Our Darkest Secrets (Jyrus)

Silenced secrets-Chapter 5

A waft of a cold breeze, flew through the slightly open window, it was late at night, 3am. The cold air was crashing against Cyrus's face, whilst he was sat up upon his bed, he was lost in his thoughts, circulating around them like a race car on a circular race track. He thought his life was just a never ending secret, he felt locked away in a human free cage to hide himself away to stop the people from being frightened of his powers. He stood up from his bed, he was still in his clothes, he didn't have the effort to change into his boxers which he sleeps in. He tentatively snook out of his bedroom, down the spiral stair case, unlocked the door, & looked left & right. Nobody.

In the cover of darkness, Cyrus started to levitate, slowly levitating higher, & higher, until he reached a height about 100m or 328 foot. Cyrus just levitated, still. He looked at his surroundings, large mountains, the beautiful city down below, he saw his new school, he saw all the houses, he also saw a large Utah flag next to a large America flag in the distance. Cyrus flew at the speed of lightning to one of the mountain tops, Cyrus could manage how fast he could fly, he could either fly really really fast, or really really slow, his powers where immaculate. He pierced his eyes around the city down below, than he looked up to all the beautiful stars & the light grey moon, which shon in his stunning eyes.

*time skip to school the next day*
Cyrus's dad dropped him off at school like he always does, the car was filled with silence once again, once Cyrus stepped out, all of the various eyes where locked onto him, which made Cyrus anxious. He slowly, & nervously walked inside of the school building, & headed to the second floor to his locker, eyes still gazed upon him, he could see the curiousness in there eyes.

"Hey, Cyrus!" Andi said, Cyrus just once again looked at her & then looked down. "You know I'm not judging you, whatever Amber said yesterday, that doesn't make me think any less of you, i know we have only known each other for a day but, I like you kid, I want you to also trust me." Cyrus looked into Andi's eyes again 'thanks' he mouthed. Andi silently walked away, smiling back at Cyrus, he was scared shitless, I mean he kissed HER boyfriend. "So...your mum is a murderer?" A random voice said behind him. He turned around, a tall girl towered above him, jet black hair & ocean blue eyes. Cyrus just walked away, he obviously knew that his mom was a murderer & she was caught by a man murdering her, who witnessed her use her powers, that's how the police couldn't link anything too her because her body was intact, obviously she had to use her powers too kill her, but which one?

DINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!

The bell rang loudly, Cyrus grabbed his book & headed towards classroom 224, his science classroom, when he arrived, he sat at the back of the room & patiently waited for who was going to sit next to him. Suddenly, Jonah walked in the room, & sat down in the chair next to Cyrus, both boys sat in an awkward silence for about 3 minutes, until Jonah finally spoke up "I'm sorry about yesterday, it was wrong of me just too...you know...do that to you. I'm secretly g-g-ga-gay. Nobody knows I can't let them, the last kid who came out was bullied so badly that he took his own life & I don't want that to happen to me!" Jonah started heavily crying, Cyrus had a few tears rolling down his eyes, but nothing like Jonah's. "I'm with Andi to hide the truth, I can't let anyone know & in that moment there was something inside of me that just sort of clicked, I gazed into your eyes there was something in that moment that just made me have to try it, because I..I I like you Cyrus" Cyrus was now starting to heavily blush. It was time for him to admit it, tell a secret, let a weight come off of his shoulders. "Jonah, I liked the kiss, I'm...you know what too, I couldn't tell anyone, the kid who came out in my school ran away from home because she was bullied to death, she didn't have any friends after she came out, I know how you feel. And well, I like you too, but, what about Andi?" Just as Cyrus said that, Mrs. Frost walked into the classroom "Alright kiddos, turn to page 118 in the books that are being given out & read & answer the questions inside.
