A/N: so this is it!! This is the end of The Great Escape and Break Away. No, you're not the only one crying.
"Let me see your wrists," Sarah said gently, reaching for my hands.
The thing was, I was completely okay with her checking my wrists now. I took off my bracelets and let her examine my arms, only being the scars remaining on my wrists.
"I love you," she whispered, kissing my wrists and pulling the bracelets back on.
"I think it's time to start packing," I smiled, taking her hand and leading me upstairs to my room.
Luke had moved back out at the beginning of the summer, but luckily he didn't live too far away from us before. Him and Clove were still happily together, and Sarah and I knew they would end up getting married. Luke hadn't been so crazy about a girl before. I'd seen him in high school and he always had new girlfriends that never really lasted long. Him and Clove had been together a little over a year now, there was no denying that he was madly in love with her and she was madly in love with him too.
I went in, and, like a little over a year before and began packing my things into boxes. I had one more year of college before I could start looking for internships and Sarah was already hitting it huge with her books.
"I can't believe we've made it this far," she sighed, pausing her work of folding my clothes from the closet and putting them into boxes, looking over at me. "I never would have pictured myself here at the beginning of last summer."
"Neither can I," I grinned. "But we're doing great, and I wouldn't trade what we have for the world."
She blushed, smiling back at me before going back to folding my clothes.
Within a couple hours we had everything in my room packed up and put into boxes and we were loading them into the back of my truck. I didn't have much stuff, seeing as I either gave them to Harry or Luke or sold the things that I really didn't need anymore, and neither did Sarah, seeing as she was never really someone to collect things. We could fit everything in the back and I sighed, closing the tailgate before walking around to take Sarah's hand as I saw that Sam, her parents and my family were standing and waited for us. It was basically the same thing I'd seen a year ago before leaving to college. The only difference was that this time I wasn't leaving Sarah behind, and this time I would be moving out for good.
I hugged each of our family members goodbye, crying as soon as I hugged my mom, who was first. I was going to miss them, and I was scared shitless about what was going to happen but I was also excited for starting a new life on my own with the girl of my dreams.
Sarah, I had noticed was also crying by the time she'd said goodbye to everyone. I tried not to make our goodbyes too long as I took Sarah and got into the car and drove away before leaving.
Of course we would come back to visit. We were only going to live 4 hours away. It just felt like a piece of me was left behind with them as I drove away.
We stopped by to meet up with Calum and Holly, who were doing much better than before. I said goodbye to them both, as did Sarah before we headed off towards our new apartment, waiting for us to move in together.

"You're going to be fine," Luke assured me, adjusting my tie. We were in my bedroom, getting ready for probably one of the biggest nights of my life. "She's in love with you, there's no way she'll ever say no."
"I just... I don't know, I'm nervous," I said, running a hand through my hair.
Luke swatted it. "Don't, you're going to mess up your hair."
