isn't exactly funeverybody's stares seem to follow you
its tempting to just runrun away from all the judgment
run away from their hateful eyebut I can't exactly do that
so all I can do is sigha girl with light hair
and pale skin sat next to meher eyes were a stark blue
and she had glasses over them to help her seeshe said hi and I learned her name
Rosaline, a name of a girl with a shy smile who doesn't seem like she wants to offendI had to remember, I couldn't forget
she seemed nice and I hoped for a friendI'd always struggled having friends before
too many complications, too much dramabut Rosaline seemed different
a nice girl, someone who would be liked by Mamashe said she had to go
but not before she invited me to lunchI gladly accepted
and before she left she said she had a hunch"we're going to be good friends"
she stated with a smileI agreed and she left
I wish she could've stayed for a longer whileher voice relaxed me
I wasn't so worried now about being newthe bell rang
now I'm afraid that last statement wasn't trueworry swirled in my belly as I walked down the halls
a guy that had been starting at me walked up to me
he finally grew some ballshe said his name was Shaun and invited me to a party
I said yes, he nodded his head, and quicky departedI opened the door to my first period class
