One of the children I danced with came running up hitting the officers back.

"Miss Gypsy is innocent she performed all day. Let Miss Gypsy go!" A child from earlier began to pound on the officers back. the officer grew more pisst as the kid continued.

"You better stop kid if you know what's best for you."

"It's not nice to threaten children." the officer punched me across my cheek. I growled, struggling more against his grip.

"Stop it don't hurt Miss Gypsy!" The officer turned to the young boy raising his hand. I quickly threw a smoke pellet. Wrapping my legs around his waist I flipped him onto the ground above my head. Quickly standing up I lifted the boy into my arms running from the scene.

"Wait my sister!" I looked to a teenager looking around panicked. I pulled on her arm throwing her onto my back as I continued running.

   "Hey Kagome!"

   "Sota! What's going on?"

"Your brother was a brave one and decided to punch and officer defending me. I hopefully knocked out the officer, but not for long. Soon all three of us will be chased until we loose them so hold on tight." i quickened my pace, distancing ourselves from them I continued until Kagome spoke up.

"We'll be safe at our place. Take a sharp left." I nodded quickly jumping over a car i made a sharp left.  I heard yelling and multiple sirens. Sota gripped my top tighter.

"Don't worry you both are going to be just fine."

"Take a right in the next cross section, than all the way past the market to the shrine on your left." a siren blared and we were cut off . I began to climb up a ladder onto the roof of a building pushing the ladder down. I pushed down their heads. Watching as the cops ran past. Sighing I looked down at them.

"Alright kids, do you trust me?"

"Wait! We aren't going anywhere until you tell me how we got dragged into your chase? Are you a criminal? You're that thief on the news aren't you?! Answer me!"

"Nothing ever changes, just like you the officer assumed that I was a thief. All because I'm different or I'm similar to this thief.  I'm no criminal and unlike you, Sota stood up for me and if I didn't act the way I did he would be in serious pain since the officer was going to beat him. You were dragged into this since I had to make sure your brother wasn't in harms way he didn't want to leave you behind. Now since they sent out the choppers, we might want to get you two home." She looked like she was about to cry they both hugged me.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have judged you by the way you looked." I nodded opening my arms and kneeling down. Sota entered my arms as Kagome jumped on my back.

"I suggest you guys hold and don't do this at home." I ran back a few steps than sprinted forward jumping onto the closest roof. With both of them screaming, I continued hopping until I found the shrine. I looked over the edge, smirking. 'This'll be easy.'

"Your not thinking of jumping that are you?" I gave no response jumping off the building nearing the ground, I bent my knees soon as my feet hit the ground, I used the momentum to cartwheel onto  handstand, a crack ringed in our ears. 'Crap that's going to be a pest.' Moving back onto my feet. I smiled as I set them on their feet.

"Your injured." I looked down at my already bruising wrist."

"Don't worry about that for now. Come on we aren't safe just yet." I laid my wrist across my chest running up the stairs after them. Once at the top we faced a woman I assumed to be their mother and Mr. Higurashi. I bowed to the elder man. He only laughed, I stood and he examined my wrist.

"It's been some time Hanako, now you return injured."

    "I apologize Mr.Higurashi, but I can't stay long."

"No you're staying... Come let's bandage your wrist and get you well fed."

    "Grandpa you knew Hanako?"

"Yes Kagoke, Sota. She's your adopted cousin." They turned to their mother, she only laughed.

"My brother had adopted her when he visited America you both were to young, and by the age of twelve Hanako  just like her deceased mother became a gypsy. Well that's what your uncle said they were called."

"I guess the cat's out of the bag. Nice to see you guys again." Gramps led all of us inside and Auntie took out the first aid kit. She put a pain relief ointment on my wrist than tightly wrapped it.

   "Thank you Auntie."

"No problem Hanako, now I suggest you rest."

"Sorry Auntie; no can do. I need to pay my thanks to the shrine. I'll be back before dinner." I bowed standing and walking outside towards the well. Opening and closing the door I went around the well and lit the candles moving to the floor. I sat on my knees clapping my hands together I began to pray. A rough hand lifted me of the ground by my throat.

"You think I'd let you get away so easily." I glared at the officer  digging my nails into his flesh.

"And you sir are getting on my nerves, I will only say it again. My name is Hanako!"

"Shut up you bitch! Your nit getting away ever again." He threw me to the ground, I snarled leaping back dodging his kick. I landed on the ledge of the well, my eyes grew large as he pulled out his gun. Before I could react he pulled the trigger, and the bullet embedded itself into my shoulder. I fell into the well holding my agonizing wound. Upon looking up instead of seeing the officer I saw a vast blue sky....
